| Well it looks like our
friend Guru-mike (aka fobbybobby) has lost his 'fob jacket'. I
got this message today on ICQ. SOS! i seem to have misplaced my jacket it's black and there is a logo on it the logo looks like a U with a crown on it the tag says underground on it please tell me if you see my jacket , i might have also left it in the trunk of your car for extra reference, jason refers to it as my FOB jacket AHAHAHAHAHAHA.... wait oh shit now we can't make fun of his fobness can we....errr ya we can, Guru-mike you're a fob. :) - Backstab | |

| Hmz... for all of you
that are expecting a Smackdown recap, I won't be producing
one. It's really time consuming to do 2 recaps in one
week, and since university is right around the corner, for
this week, there will be no Smackdown recap. If
anything, I thought the show was pretty good with Rock/Jericho
vs RVD/Rhyno the best match there was. HAHAHA...
Austin tied Angle's Olympic Medals to an anchor like thing and
threw it into a some sort of body of water.
Hilarious.
I'd also like to give you people my US Open tennis predictions. For the female draw, I am going with an underdog and will say that Justine Henin will get her first major. She has the sweetest backhand in the game, and she's not that bad looking herself. In Backstab's words, "elite". For the male draw, Pat Rafter, if you really are gonna retire, go out with a bang and win the US Open. I understand Gustavo Kuerten is on fire at the moment, but let's not forget Rafter has made it to the finals in the last four tournaments he's participated in. So predictions, Henin and Rafter. | Hmm.. I got a bit
bored today so I made a short page on Protoss Build Orders. Nothing special really. I just finished installing the video card and sound card drivers for my new P4 1.7 ($$). It is elite... after I ripped up that ugly DAIWA sticker on my CPU and replaced it with an ASUS sticker. :P We also watched Skieblade and condom-boi played 1v1 in Starcraft. That was total yawnage, it was so boring I decided not to waste HD space and save the replay. Etheral is gonna write a report/opinion/review on it, LOL. Hopefully he has the replay of the game, he was using his new computer so he should have tons of space on his comp. :) - Backstab | ||

| I got my labtop
yesterday and I just had time to check it out today. It's a
Dell Inspiron 2500, P3 800 with 128 MB RAM. Even though I only
got 4MB video card and a 10 GB harddrive, I think it's good
enough since I'm only gonna type with it mostly. My monster P4
1.7 GHz desktop also came today, but I didn't have time to
fool around with that yet. HEHE LUCKY ME. 2 computers in a day
$$!! Thanks to my friend Etheral, I just got a hold of the replays of game 1 and game 2 of "Blacky vs Whitey" between Skieblade and fobbybobby. Be sure to watch those. I swear, you'll laugh so hard at how much they suck. :P The next Blacky vs Whitey will be A LOT BETTER, trust me on that one. :) Hmmm.... oh ya, Justine Henin is elite. - Backstab | ||

| A few updates | Tuesday 8/28/2001 | |
| Well I added the
games
section. Right now it doesn't have much, but I uploaded the
Starcraft replay of "Blacky vs Whitey" game #3 between
Skieblade and fobbybobby. I'll give you a warning, the replay
does not display high quality SC. :P Oh yeah, I also added
links to the music clips of my top 3 tunes.

| NHL 2001 on PS2 | Monday 8/27/2001 | |
| Yesterday I went to my
friends house and we were bored and rented NHL 2001 for PS2.
Well I think it's pretty good, very fast paced. There's this
thing called the 'momentum meter' which I thought was very
cool. Basically if you shoot and make big hits, your momentum
rises. Your players perform a lot better when the momentum is
on your side. Only thing bad about it was... well, I scored a
goal by shooting the puck from my OWN blue line. It somehow
beat Cujo's fivehole. :P Anyway, it was fun for 2
hours.

| Music Page & Book of the Bad 2 EP | Sunday 8/26/2001 | |
| I uploaded the
music
page. I'll soon add clips to the corresponding tunes. By the way, I got Book of the Bad 2 EP by Bad Company (or )EIB( if you like calling them that) and ya, it rocks. Running Man is a pretty good intro tune, Grunge is a very ordinary BC tune, bad ass bassline + stabs. Dogs on the Moon is a weird one, it sounds a bit unfinished but it rolls nonetheless. The best track on the EP is Ladies of Spain. It starts off with Jim Morrison (guy from The Doors) talking some stuff out and that spanish guitar sample sticks to my head like glue. Damn, I like it so much it is now the #1 track of 2001 on my charts :P - Backstab | ||

| Well Polaris Prime is
back up. At the moment we're looking at switching to a better
server than tripod so there won't be those lame annoying
popups. I will make more updates in the next few days. I
originally planned on using www.livejournal.com for our news updater script since I don't know any
CGI, but right now, their site is screwed up. So now I have to
post news manually like this. Oh well, hopefully they will fix
up their servers.... updating news with HTML is ghetto.
