Back in Richmond Hill - Friday 10/5/01 10:50pm EST

Well I'm back in the ghetto town of Richmond Hill. Seen.

Last night I drank and went to Fed hall with a whole bunch of peeps including Etheral, Jon Mui and Christine. Christine was planning on going in without drinking but she lied and took 3 shots, lol. I was buzzed and kept talking to people... anyhow, when I came back at 1:15am, my ears were totally screwed up and it is still a bit screwed up now, the music was so fucking loud there.

I don't think I told you people about this but I wrote an article for mathNews, the Faculty of Math Student Newspaper last week. mathNews was published today and all the SE ppl were going WTF who is Backstab/George? By the end of the day, the word has spread out and a lot of people knew I wrote it. The funniest thing happened when some dude came up to me and asked me "Hey, do you know who's George or Backstab?". I responded "Nope... no idea". Pretty cool tho, I got a few positive comments, even though my article was total crap imo. On Pace for a perfect season - GO LEAFS GO! - Thursday 10/4/01 7:49 pm EST

OH NO!  The Maple Leafs opened the season yesterday, surprising many and actually exceeding expectations.  They actually scored 4 goals, which is usually how many they score in like 4 games - so I hope you leaf fans are happy.  But, oh yeah, I forgot to say...

THE LEAFS STILL LOST TO OTTAWA!!

Yes, and oh no, what is this, the invincible Joseph let in 5 goals?  OH NO!!!  Looks like Joseph is slowing down.  Leafs are so dead.  WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!   Raptors will win a championship before the Leafs win a cup =)

Yes, the Leafs are indeed on the way to a perfect season: 0-82.  This is going to be such a great year - such a great year!

My Bad Day and Bad Company - Thursday 10/4/01 7:00pm EST

Bleh... I'm not in the greatest mood right now because I totally screwed up my linear Algebra quiz.  The question had 8 parts to it, and I think my answers were wrong for all 8 parts.  Well, there goes my 100% in Linear Algebra. I'll be glad if I get a 65% on that quiz. Crap, it wasn't even that hard, I just inverted a matrix wrong and screwed up the determinant at the same time... and since all the other questions were based on those 2 things, everything else I did will be wrong. Doh. Another lesson learned. 

So yeah, I will be drinking today. Thursday nights = drinking nights for me.  It's quite unbelievable how I have twice as much of workload and class time than the people in Math and I can still manage to finish my assignments light years before they even start.  Talking about working ahead, I think I almost finished next week's CS assignment.  Tonight, I think my floor are going to Fed Hall tonight, if not then I'm gonna go with Tommyboy's white crew. Whatever. I don't want to do any work and I know I will own the physics quiz tomorrow. Watch me get 100% in physics. That's the only course that I'll dominate.  Followed by Calculus, then CS130 and Linear Algebra.

Last but not least... um, nm. I think it's a sad day in sports today... Skieblade I think you know what I mean if you do some research. Sigh. :(

Waddup Waterloo??  Obviously not much considering you guyz have time to post messages like crazy.  Be glad none of you are taking biology - this is the shittiest course the world has to offer.  It's so shitty it's fit for Waterloo, but I guess UofT felt sorry for you people and decided to teach this course known as crap.  

What do I like in my mooncake?  I like paper messages in my mooncake telling me when to do stuff and what to do.  Like for example, Osama bin Laden probably sent out mooncakes with messages telling all his subordinates when and how to fly an airplane into the world trade center.  Yes...

I wanna address the fact that we now have 9 people in our staff.  If we have more people it's gonna get real messy since this is done without CGI.  Therefore, our staff is going to stay at 9 people. However, if you wanna help out the site and submit an article or two, you may and you will get full credit of doing it and it will be posted up in the stuff section.  And if I really like what you're writing. Algebra And My 12 Hour Hell - Wednesday 10/3/01 4:33 am EST

Ok like its fuckin 4:33 in the morning. So why am I writting this?? Because its to late in the morning to sleep. I have spent the the last 12 hours of my day doing algebra. First it was studying for a quiz, then doing the quiz, then trying to finish an assignment then working on the assignment even more. Even now its not completely done. Like WTF why does it have to be so damn hard. Who cares if ab = GCF(a,b) LCM(a,b). The last four hours has been spent on 1 question yes one fuckin question. On the two pages I wrote there are 12 numbers, yes 12, like this is math class not damn english 109. This is the colmination of what I have learned.

Algebra = 12 hrs x $20/lecture                                                                                

Therefore Algebra = Time X Money

Time = Money 

Algebra = Money²

Money = Root of Evil

Money² = Evil

Therefore Algebra = Evil  QED Now that's a proof I understand!!!

The Shit List + Classical Algebra is shit - Tuesday 10/2/01 2:35 pm EST

Ok, I finally added a shit list to this page because I'm bored.  What it is is just a list of things that you hate at the moment, be it people, school, food, music, sports... everything's good in there.  This list is organized in NO PARTICULAR order. SO start filling up the list guys.

Discrete Math or Classical ALgebra or whatever the fuck u like to call it SUCKS. It's the shittest of all math. That crap should be abolished. It's useless in today's society.  Etheral summed it up pretty much.  Seriously, WHY THE HELL WOULD U WANNA SOLVE GCD AND LCM BY USING THE EUCLIDEAN FUCKING ALGORITHM. USELESS! I can do GCD and LCM by factoring it with prime numbers, that's easy and practical and I can do that easily when I was in grade 6. Classical Algebra is so useless and impractical, screw proofs, screw Dioelephantation equations or whatever the fuck u call it. Logarithms, trig, calculus and geometry is all you need in math. Seriously, I think kids should start learning Trig in grade 5, Logs in grade 7 and calc in grade 9.

In other news, our 1A Soft Eng class name is SE-Xperts. I prefer SE-Xtreme or SE-XTC over xperts. Anyhow I don't know what's the deal with all the engineers and sex... Jon 'da man' Mui's 1A Mech Eng class has the name 'Long Wrench and Big Nuts'. WTF? Anyway our class website is gonna be www.sexperts.org ... sounds like a porn site.

Mid-Term Eh? - Tuesday 10/2/01 11:05am EST

Well, I just found out yesterday that I have a mid-term tomorrow for psychology! Apparently, there was also a long list of reading I was also suppose to do, I didn't know about that either. So I pretty much have 400 pages to read today. But I was able to memorize most of the stuff pretty easily yesterday, I guess it was a good memorizing day for me! I think I bombed my algebra quiz though. I have one question for all of you... 

WHY THE FUCK WOULD ANYBODY WANT TO MULTIPLY OR ADD IN BASE FUCKIN 6? WHY THE FUCK? FUCK FUCK FUCK! WHAT THE FUCK! IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY TRYING TO THINK OF WHY ANYBODY WOULD WANT TO DO THAT? OH MY GOD! WHAT THE HELL!! HOLY SHIT!! OLI OLI OLI OLI OLI WOLI! 

Anyways, classical algebra is really stupid, that's the conclusion I came to. For the October-Fest people, what time are you guys planning to come up on Friday? I think Tiffany is coming, you still have room in your car right Cliff? I would give you a call, but all my numbers are back in TO. I be back this weekend, so I'll talk to you guys then! I Bought A $56 Physics Answer Book - Monday 10/1/01 4:34pm EST

What a rip off. I'm such a dumbass. I could have photocopied it for free of a friend of
mine last week, but apparently we all need it this week because of a mid-term on Friday.
Everyone's starting to cave and my program is buying them like mad. Anyways, I won't be
stressing over physics as much 'cause I have solutions to messed up questions now.

Anyways, a lot has been quiet on the T.O. front. Well, for me anyways. Today, I read
about negative integers in bytecode. Yeah. Actually though, I like Discrete math over
other subjects. The answer is either 1 or 0. You can't go wrong with that.

Anyways, about T.O. Yeah, the UT people have been going out a lot. I think they went to
a York pub last Thurs. However, I did go and see an Argos game on Friday when I was supposed
to be studying. We won by 3 pts.

Oh yeah, I was gonna post this. I was coming out of the turny thing at Finch station,
you know where you exit with those turn thingys that only go one direction? Yeah, those.
I saw some lady try to walk through with a dog. There wasn't enough room for both, and
the lady was forcing the dog to go through the gate with her. The dog was heisitating
because this lady is fucking stupid. The dog had more ability to judge that they wouldn't
be able to go through together. THE FUCKING DOG HAD MORE SENSE THAN THIS PERSON. Isn't
that some type of animal cruelity?

Anyways, caught the entire episode of "Enterprise" yesterday... missed the beggining when
it premiered on CityTV. Not bad. I don't like the first officer... he's a Yankee. That
Vulcan lady isn't bad though. What the hell was that part about rubbing gel on themselves?
Gees... can we say appealing to the lowest common denominator? I never knew StarTrek would
go that low. Oh yeah, speaking of StarTrek, and of Gene Roddenbery, Earth: Final Conflict
is gonna start again soon. Does anyone watch this series? I would like to converse with
someone about it. I missed a whole section when Sandoval had the ability to hide his CVI.

Yeah, and Basketball season is gonna start soon. Toronto looks EXTREMELY GOOD. The deciding
factor will be Hakeem. (Sorry, don't want to misspell his last name) Does he still have
the fire? Or is he some old fart ready to be retired? We'll soon see.

You know what? I'm gonna write an article about Pre-season thoughts about the Raptors.

NFL Weekend Quick Comments - Monday 10/10/1 8:42am EST

I watched only parts of 3 games but I was surprised by a lot of things after reading the scores.

The biggest upset was:

New England 44-13 over Indianapolis. OMG. Just as I thought Indianapolis was gonna win that one 37-3 or something, the NE defense stepped up and returned for 2 TDs from interceptions.  And who's the backup QB from New England?  He did well, he threw 0 INT.

Other games worth mentioning:

Rams 42-10 over Dolphins. OUCH. Warner is starting to own again.
San Diego 28-14 over Cincinnati.  I'm not sure exactly if it's 100% Doug Flutie, but the Chargers look extremely good going into the 4th week.
Baltimore over Denver 20-13. Damn.

So before the monday nighter I'm at 7-6.  Tommyboy is also at 7-6 and Skieblade at 6-7.

Btw, what's up with the guys at TO, nothing much? Haven't heard from you guys for a while.

Rogue Spear is pretty fun.  Especially when you have 4 people playing on LAN on our floor.  We were playing the missions and we're now on mission 10 after just a day of playing. I kept dying on the 10th mission because I was the only one with the electronics kit and people should be COVERING my ass. Anyhow, I'm now used to Unreal Tournament... so I sorta sux.  I kept hitting space bar to jump, but there's no jumping in RS. Doh.

Btw Liston, in response to your question you asked me on ICQ yesterday, I have no friggin clue. Guru Mike has no clue either but was laughing his ass off when he saw me checking that message in my room.

I don't get hangovers - Saturday 9/29/01 12:30pm EST

I guess that's a good thing. Except on Friday that after the physics quiz my stomach to feel weird from the chocolate milk that I drank. In Calculus I thought I was gonna throw up... but luckily I didn't.  Today I woke up refreshed.

I was supposed to go to Scunt yesterday. I did after I was a little buzzed and I went at 1:00 am when everyone left and went to sleep. My team wasn't doing much so I went to check out Jon's team and his team wasn't doing much either. We somehow decided to go to Bubble Tea at 2:00 am because we went out the door thru E2 and there was the plaza! I ate some Satay Beef Udon which were really good.

No more drinking at all until next Thursday. At least.
