Ok physically I think I'm getting better but I still get tired when I go up 2 floors in the MC building.
I found out I got 86 on my CS Midterm. It might be an 86, but my class average is a fucking 85.9 (and someone got 50) which means that I basically is below average if you think of it ranking wise. I haven't looked at the midterm myself, I just got the mark, hopefully I can get a few more marks here and there. The average for the 500 students who's taking CS130 is 77%.
I still think CS midterms are such bullshit. I hate this coding on paper crap. Fuck. People's strength in programming lies in their debugging and logic skills. You don't write code out and expect it to run the first time round. So stupid. Not to mention that the exam was gay to the max.
Oh, today featured the SE 101 Lego Demonstrations. I find it hilarious that future software engineers can't even get Lego robots to work. None of the groups got their robots to work. I'll tell you why though - it's because of two factors. Jackasses in your group who don't show up for group meetings and the equipment wasn't that good.
Goddamn it I'm pissed off. Time to pump up some hardcore drum and bass... "Possession" (Kemal and Rob Data remix) is such a fucking good tune when you are angry. Try it yourself, pump it to MAXIMUM VOLUME.

The Shittiness of this Week Continues - Wednesday 10/31/01 7:30pm EST
I woke up this morning and I lost my voice. It's disgusting I tried to say hi, all you can hear is a very screwed up "hieeeh" sound out of my mouth.
I hate being sick. I couldn't get to sleep last night. I decided to screw CS130 practicum because it is very homosexual so if I do that I'll have a nice 9.5 hours of sleep. But I couldn't fall asleep because of my cough.
The night before was the same thing. Those FUCKING FOBS beside me are so GODDAMN LOUD at 1am in the morning. I swear, when everyone goes to sleep they'll open their doors and start talking like homosexuals getting excited on gay porn. So I ended up falling asleep at like 1:45 am and woke up at like 7:15 the next morning, sick and all, for my Discrete Math problems lab, and walk all the way to RCH. Yesterday I ended up walking back and forth RCH like twice... because I have to do my SE 101 assignment there at night. I was so exhausted after that long walk.
Anyhow my throat was so screwed up this morning I decided to go to Health Services. Got some prescribed Penicillin in the process. Not sure if it's gonna do the trick. The doctor said he's guessing it's just a "flu", but from my symptoms it can be bacterial, viral, and there's a tons of flus etc. Basically he had no clue.
Last night I had a pretty cool dream. I think me and some other people (dont' remember who) were taking the subway and I was listening to tune Dreamthief by )EIB(. When I got off the train, the station had some music on apparently and I heard another tune by )EIB( and I began to hum to the tune like crazy. Then I woke up and forgot about the tune all of a sudden. I don't remember what tune it was, it had a syncopated breakbeat, but I was so sure, that was such a good tune also... my guess right now is Ladies of Spain. Oh well. Pretty screwed up to say the least.
Etheral, white people always steal shit from other people. Let's see, they stole basically Pasta from Chinese people. Not to mention all that new garbage heavy metal and alternative crap mixing with hip hop. Again, stealing shit from black people. :P

Yesterday during my pop music and culture class, my teacher showed us a video clip about how white people stole music from black people. There was this one individual named "Pat Boone". What a fuckin retard, the moron was asked by his manager to steal the song "Tutti Frutti" (by Little Richard) and he said no because "the lyrics don't make sense". But low and behold, the next scene showed him singing the song and dancing on stage like a fuckin moron. He seriously looked like he was suffering from a severe case of mental and physical retardation. He then made a fortune off of it, but oh my god, I'll never forget the way he danced. Holy mother of god, it's the most fucked up thing I've ever seen. "Shake Rattle and Roll" was also stolen from a black group by Bill Haley and his fuckin space rocks.
Anywho, today during psych class, Mike said something funny and I was laughing quietly and this stupid bitch gave me cut eye. Anywho, that pissed me off, what a fuckin piece of shit, I hope she goes bald or something. After class while people were leaving, the doors were making a squeaking noise because people kept on opening and closing them and my teacher got angry so he braced the door with something. When Mike and I got to the door, we found out it was being held open by a wheelchair, that was pretty funny.

YAY!! CARTER RETURNS TO GAME!! Meaning no torn ligaments. The world is saved. Liston's and my academic careers aren't though... BUT VINCE IS OK!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I will again update situation if I find out any more info. Thank goodness he didn't get hit in the side of the knee... I probably took that for him last March =)

UPDATE UPDATE!! TRAGEDY MORE SEVERE THAN SEPT. 11 - Tuesday 10/30/01 9:00pm EST
OH MY FRICKING GOD. I'M WATCHING THE RAPTORS GAME, AND CARTER GETS A KNEE ON KNEE INJURY! OH MY GOD.. OH MY GOD...
If he tore his ACL, he's done for the season, and so are the Raptors. Oh my frickin god. This is no joke. Carter sustains knee on knee injury. Severity not yet known... but possible ligament tearage, which means done for year.
I will keep everyone updated on this tragic situation.
Oh... as a side note. Vince's injury seemed to be a front to front knee injury. His leg was twisted as he fell. I know that when I injured my ACL, it was a front of a knee hitting the side of my knee. So maybe it's not a torn ACL, but it might be another ligament, ie. MCL. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!
Again, Carter injured indefinitely. What the hell.
Oh yeah, Liston, you know how you said your life is going to collapse? This injury might force you back to your books... lol.

Running Out of Vitasoy and Nimda Virus - Tuesday 10/30/01 1:40pm EST
Damn I'm running out of Vitasoy in my room. This really blows. I only have 1 chocolate flavoured Vitasoy left.
I was gonna update my page at 1:40pm today but I found out my network was totally fucked up when one of my neighbours were trying to get a tune off my hard drive. (more drum and bass promotion!) Anyhow, I was like wtf you don't see my comp on the network, so I checked my comp and found that I couldn't connect to the network. Then after like 20 restarts my comp was fucked beyond belief as my computer started behaving like a 486 with 5% system resources. My ICQ almost freezes my computer when I tried to open it. Then I realized it was the damn Nimda Virus on my computer, got them through the ResNet network. Goddamn. Took the comp a while to get it back to work. BTW, I'm not sharing anything anymore. I ain't getting no more viruses yo.
Didn't I tell you that programming + drinking is great? You'll just start coding and you won't even stop. And when you finish your program you'll get so pumped up. It's pretty crazy.
Last night I did the CS130 midterm while having a slight fever in the beginning. I took 2 tylenol 30 min before the exam, and I got a bit drowsy. I think the midterm wasn't too bad, but all I was thinking about was pissing. Half an hour into the mid term I was like... oh fuck I gotta piss, I ended up finishing the exam after an hour and a half and I dunno know... I sorta multitasked through the exam, thinking of Java and thinking of pissing.
My throat is still sore like hell even though I don't have the fever anymore. I'm relying on my Cepacols and a few Echinacea pills. Seems like a lot of peeps are getting sick as of late. One guy in my program got the chicken pox just before the CS 130 midterm. Unbelievable.

My life TOTALLY went to shit last year because I just HAD TO watch every Toronto playoff series while studying for exams. Didn't work. My life goes on hold to watch the Raps.
Anyways, I finally figured out that coding in Java while drinking Heineken is freaking amazing. I really didn't want to code, but then I had a few and I was coding like crazy.
My father is gone at least until the middle of November, so free lodging at mi casa for those of you who just can't live at home anymore.
Anyways, off to bed.

Half Way Through Hell - Monday 10/29/01 4:40pm EST
The last three weeks have sucked hardcore with studying for exams along with all the other stuff. That's 3 down and two 2 to go. I pretty much smoked the economics and algebra exams, 90% in each, yeah. Calc I got an 80%, oh well I beat the class average and the way I wrote the exam it could have been worse, I'll take the 80%. So its just CS which could be hard or easy, not sure, and another economics mid term next week. This week is gonna be really bad, the journey is gonna get darker before I see the light. Oh well a few late nights should take care of the problem.
About the weekend, have fun back in Toronto to anyone who is going back or those people who are already there, I'm staying for David Usher at FED. Anyways off to go do some last minute studying in for CS.

Ok, these Diamondbacks are good. Wait, gimme a sec, Curt Schilling and Randy Johnson are amazing. WTF... the Yankees have managed an elite 6 hits over 2 games, or more specifically, they've had 3 hits per game. They have also managed to score an elite 1 run in two games - 1 off Schilling and 0 off Johnson. This is total ownage. Now, here's how things are - 2-0 Arizona in best of 7. Now here's the scary thing if you're a Yankee fan, and hell, scary if you're a baseball fan. Schilling and Johnson can each pitch like 2 more times if need be!! TWO MORE FRICKIN TIMES!! The Yankees are so dead. This is Ownage as never seen before. Hell, even when the Devils held the Leafs to 6 shots, they didn't own them as much as the Diamondbacks are owning the Yankees.

I woke up this morning with a nasty sore throat and a fever. My bones ached and all. This sucks, I think I might take a day off tomorrow and get ready for the CS130 Exam. This week is such a bitch. I have... let's see... CS Assignment due, 2 Calc Assignments, physics assignment, an SE 101 quiz and an SE 101 Assignment. SHIT. I've been in my room like all day and being sick really sucks. I now have to walk to MC to hand in my calc assignment.
Wow I'm suprised PP has 5000 visitors. This is elite. Big up to everyone in the PP crew and to the many regular visitors to this site.

Hmz, ok, I officially suck at predicting football games - but NEW ORLEANS WON!! HAHAHAH!! YEAH!! Even though the Vikings got the living crap kicked out of them, the Rams lost to the Saints, and that is all that matters. Oh yeah, the Bills lost, but if anyone still believes that Flutie is a better quarterback, go get some help - you're just a diehard CFL fan, and for that, you should be shot.

Woah, I was really impressed when I heard Andy C's set the other day and he dropped a really really cool tune. The song is Shake It by Shy Fx. I was like woah, this is freakin sweet, it sounds like some R&B tune with a latin flavour and its got a D'n'B beat. Wicked shit. Tunes like these should be dropped at Fed. Stop playing R&B and commercial dance crap. Anyway, that tune WILL make the girls wet. Too bad it will only . Liston and Knobody, I'm pretty sure you'll like this tune. I have a good quality MP3 of it but it's not the whole song, it's coming out in 2002.
I'm more and more into vocal stuff, I seem to be getting a bit bored of the traditional nasty drum and bass. I'm beginning to really like the really techno sounding (big up Kemal & Rob Data and Cause 4 Concern) and the more trancey stuff.
