Civilization 3 - Thursday 11/15/01 7:45pm EST
Why is this game so DAMN addicting? For the last few days it has been Civ 3, work, eat, Civ 3, work, Civ 3, sleep. Last night I was so hyped up because I finally got a good game going, and I woke up at 9:30am in the morning and played until 10:20 for class. LOL. Once you start the game, you can't stop. Guru had been playing Civ so much that he had been apparently skipping classes. Unfortunately he uninstalled it today... or else he said he won't pass Calculus.
Last night I saw one of my neighbours playing Max Payne. It IS a real cooli0 game. I really like the comic strip thing idea. Really neat and it's a breather from all the First Person Shooters nowadays (DAMN U CS).
OK That's it time for Civ 3. BTW I really want Madden NFL 2002 on computer. I just want a football computer game, I haven't played one of those since Grade 8 or something... damn.

It's been strange lately. I used to spend all morning at school, and go home very early. Now I'm going in late and staying late. It's really odd how that flip-flop occurred.

Well I got a nice pirated version of XP Pro, and well I've seen it working flawless on somebody else's machine, and I hear that the new stability is incredible. But I also hear that there is no burner software compatible...WHAT THE HELL IS THAT ABOUT! How can I not burn CDs? I live off of CDs, my world would come crashing down around me. No good. No good at all. Plus I couldn't get Netscape@home to run on Win 2000, and well my dad will kill me if he can't access his stocks. (that's kinda the bigger issue).
Well...ummm...don't knock Michael Jackson, even tho his new album is kinda lacking the edge he used to have, and I was sorely dissapointed after going out and buying the REAL album. He's still the king of pop (tho mostly because people like N'Sync and BSB are stupid retarded dumbasses...redundant much?)
Anyways, Liston, if you aren't going up would you like to join us at the Brunny on Thurs. I think Yausers, is coming and Di said she wantes to come, which means she might actually come this time. I have to talk to Fal cuz we said we desperately need the pub night, but he might be working since he's 1 of 3 supervisors now. But then again you do have that big 40% thingy. I say screw it. I'm driving.
Syl, you still around? Me needs more intellectual stimulation, people in university are stupid. (I myself am evidence of that). I think I'll get around to e-mailing soon.

I just found out today that I have a 40% in class exam in Philosophy on Friday afternoon. So I guess I won't be coming up on Thursday. Damn, I was looking forward to $6 pitchers. Lemme check the bus schedule for Friday....
Damn, buses leave the same times as on Thursday. Alright, never mind then. I'll be there on Friday @ around 9pm.
BTW, I picked up my International Student Idenfication Card (ISIC) at my local Travel Cuts. Not bad... considering I got it for FREE! I get $15 bucks off my bus ticket, and something like 30% off VIA rail passes.

BBC Radio 1 by the way, is as bad as the biggest radio station in Toronto (92.5? 102.1 Edge? sorry i dont' listen to radio here). I was laughing my ass off when I saw what's underneath Bad Company. Among the big names are #2 Alicia Keys, #3 DMX, #4 Michael Jackson?? LOL!! Jennifer Lopez at #10 and who's #1? Bad Company! HAHAH. Wow people in England are elite. Drum and bass over all commercial stuff in Dance.

Knobody Checking In - Monday 11/12/01 12:00 EST
Well finally posting again. After this week is over things slow down a little for me...very little, but I think I'll start posting regularly again. Ran into Kalvin Sie again today...literally. He was skateboarding around St. George St. and I walked right in front of him (On purpose, Im stupid, but not that stupid.) I turned around and looked at him and he looked like he was about to kill me until he recognized me. That was funny. I don't think I'll do it again, I like being alive. I had an economics test today, I thought I was so prepared for it, and then the test gets dropped in front of me, and I was like "What the Fuck" but not out loud, that might have been a problem. Anyways, I don't know how I did, some of the questions were really confusing. What the hell is that about, it's economics, I'm a PACEr stuff isn't supposed to be confusing, well not that stuff. Anyways, really looking forward to pub night this week. Not looking forward to this weekend tho. Stupid Harry Potter movie. I'm gonna get stuck working all weekend. Damnit, I hope I get to move up to the bar soon. I just downloaded the Baby Blue Urban Nostalgia album. Oh my god that shit is amazing. So many memories, so well mixed. When they do new stuff everyone is already sick of it, but when they come back with the Ol' Skool trax, it's awesome. Anyways, going to listen to it again.

Nestea and Vitasoy
I'm drinking Nestea as I'm writing
this right now. I just realized how much Nestea I have been
drinking ever since I came to Waterloo. Same thing with
Vitasoy. I think I drink about 4-5 Nesteas and 5-6 Vitasoys
per week.
Civ 3
I think I'm gonna head over to get Civilization 3 now. Tommyboy told me he spent 10 hours yesterday playing it. He has split screen, so one screen with nfl.com ticker and the other on Civ 3. That's pretty elite.

Wow... I'm 11-2 this week. Quite impressive. But DAMNIT I missed all the NFL games because our lounge has no TV because the TV is busted.
Is is true that the moment you turn 20, you turn into an old fart? And once you turn 21 you start thinking about retirement? I hope not. Ah what the hell, I'm still underage. 15 more days to go!
It's unbelievable how Beatles do it for me. Their stuff is deep. That song "Dear Prudence" is stuck in my head, same with "Sexy Sadie". Dunno why but they're such great songs for singing. It's funny how I'm interchanging between drum and bass, and then some Beatles on my winamp playlist. It's pretty screwed up to think of it.
You know what I miss? Playing sports games on computer. I really want Madden 2002 now. I also want Civ 3. Power Serge apparently has Civ 3 and he told me he has been skipping all his classes for that game. LOL. He agreed to trade with Mike's Monty Python Holy Grail Div X tho. Elite$$. Once I get Civ 3 it'll be all good.

Anyways, trying to study, but also watching TV at the same time. Star Wars is on too.
I've decided to come up on Thursday night at about 9pm. I'll have to pack a bag and bring it to my classes, but that's okay. I'll come up for sure, but if there's some assignment that I don't know about yet, I'll come up on friday instead. I need a place to stay too! Thanx.

since i posted here. Well i got XPed. XPed beening a verb not a noun. Windows fucked up and my CD-Rom and burner disappeared. Couldn't fix it, so i had to format. So i lost a buncha progs but now i'm back up. That contributed to my not posting recently. In other Tech news, IBM's best military cryto processors have been cracked and posted on the net. Copy protection CD's are begining to roll out in fullforce. The only good thing about the copy protection on CDs is that there will be less crap MP3s floating around on the internet. God bless those greedy bastards working for N'sync.
In other news, well there is no other news. Unless you want to hear about how i increase the size of my anime collection significantly. Or how I got Liston pretty drunk or how i learn shit loads in psych. Etheral, update you quotes! To not be hypocritical, I updated my QotW. Well stick a fork in me I'm done. (10 bucks says Skieblade is thinking of a homosexual remark about my last sentence)

Damn, I just spent 5 hours today with my group doing the SE 101 project. I think we've got about 90% done and now we have to proofread. The whole report is fucking 28 pages long... a little over 5000 words. Ouch. I don't think I've ever done an essay over 1200 words... anyway.
My Demo CD is done! Yup.. I'll begin sending them soon. If you want a copy, drop me a message. One of my tunes, "Ravener" was dropped on a radio station in Sweden. Some Estonian DJ also wants to cut Ravener on plate and I think I might send them demo CDs. I burnt the CD on Guru's comp on Thursday and I was quite pleased at the quality of the CD.
On Thursday, I went on CDnow for fun to look for some song samples, I accidentally stumbled onto a Beatles album. Oh my god, Beatles is fucking good. I can't believe I totally forgot about them until now. The White Album is definitely one of the best ever rock albums ever created. Thanks to Joel I got the White Album, Revolver and Rubber Soul. I'm gonna bring up Magical Mystery Tour and some other CDs from home. My goodness Beatles have so much talent in them... I don't understand why there are still so many people nowadays who like this alternative shit that's being played out on the radio. It is absolute shit comparing to the stuff that had back then. ALTERNATIVE IS DEAD! FACE IT BITCHES.
