My utmost apologies!- Friday 11/30/01 6:25am EST

It's the Guru, and i'm sorry i can't come back this weekend. I've been so caught up in work that nothing crazy seems to happen to me. For example the craziest thing that happens to me now is when code doesn't make any sense. Ok it's not really that bad. Actually Periciles (aka Joel) just walking into my room and shoved a little sandwich bag full of weed in my face, and i quote "LOOK! you can see the whites!".

Your probably wondering how i'm fucked next week. I normally wouldn't miss a chance to come home unless i'm seriously fucked. Well i am. No way would i miss a triple B day. Ok here how my schedule goes for next week. 3 finals! 1 in psych worth 25% 1 in philosophy worth an unknown amount. (my prof is smart but not a very organized person.) 1 Calc final. Appearing in that order. *sigh* i'm so butt fucked for the next while. and i have phil term paper due. So please excuse me while i shoot myself.

Well i'm in a perpetual state of living dead. Liston is right on the nose when he said "did every one commit suicide" except i commited suicide the moment i signed that university acceptance letter. UGH! school suxs Why couldn't god make me a genius or make everyone really really dumb at least! that usually the final arguments when a man is clearly going insane. You know what i'm going to shut up about school now, enough about waterloo.

One method of dead that they didn't mention on dead.org is one i'd like to call, eating scissors. yes eating scissors. A sort of pica i guess, eating scissors should be a rather interesting way to die.

you know what i need to buy, a portable mp3 cd player with remote control! i saw some of them they are pretty damn elite. Oh i finally have a misburned cd. but that because the source was fucked. but a misburn is a misburn. Oh yeah yesterday while watching anime a bunch of drunks rolled into my room wrestling and rolled out.

and exceptionally long post this time because it's my current escape from work. Liston i suggest you taking Object orientated programming. That where it's at. It makes programing in groups alot easier. But operating systems sounds really cool. But i bet it's insanely hard. I know it's hard in waterloo but not too sure about ryerson. lol LOS liston operating system.

Well i'm done, nothing else to spew.

Not too much crazy shit - Friday 11/30/01 12:40am EST

There's absolutely nothing going on here at Waterloo.  Tonight is the last Fed Hall thing but I chose not to go.  It wasn't very good last time I went.  The DJ sucked shit.  I hate it when I am dancing to a DJ that can't mix for beans.  All this guy does is do straight cuts and crossfades, and when he tries to beat mix them he fucks up and doesn't even try to cover it up.  He's horrible. My mixing skill is like 5 times better, even without proper equipment.

Fed is so samey everytime, you can tell people aren't really enjoying the music, especially the white guys, I mean, come on when 97% of the music played is hip-hop/r&b (about 3% is that pop dance crap), you know they ain't enjoying it.  But obviously that's not really the point of going to a club/pub.  I seriously don't know what would happen if I do a set at Fed.  I'd probably blow up the place real bad.

I went to the UW Bookstore today to see if I can find my new textbooks because I thought there was a discount.  Unfortunately there was none.  My SE 114 (Digital Circuits) textbook is a really really thin textbook, but it costs like $120. Like WTF is that?

I haven't updated a lot of the sections as of late. I'm getting extremely lazy... and exams are coming up.

BTW I STILL haven't had a sip of alcohol yet ever since I turned 19.

A god damn ladle! - Thursday 11/29/01 7:15am EST

The semester is almost over and so much crazy shit is happening in Waterloo nowadays.

First of all, last week in our psych class, my teacher was teaching us about he disorder known as "Pica" which is when people eat all sorts of nonedible shit... and then he ate a piece of chalk. HE ATE A FUCKIN PIECE OF CHALK. What the hell was that, he ate the chewed and swallowed the god damn chalk!! And then he told us about some guy who went to the hospital because he had a stomach ache and then people found out he had a ladle and stapler in his stomach, how the fuck do you eat a ladle? I didn't know that was physically possible!!! Anyways, that guy wasn't allowed to keep anything smaller than a ladle in his room (his special room) and one day someone was trying to open a door in that guys room and the door fell off because the guy ate the hinges... yeah.

Anyways, someone is playing some really annoying Chinese music right now, I don't know if it's Chris or the fobs though, I guess Axl Rose is going to have to start yelling soon. Oh yeah, our CS team (Nick, Mike, Trevis and I) came in third for our Solitaire presentation today out of 12 groups, I think that's pretty impressive considering our program didn't work while everyone else's did. Foolards, ha ha ha.

I'm Not Sure What To Talk About - Thursday 11/29/01 1:31am EST

There's a lot of stuff floating around in my head, but I really don't feel like going into anything specific.

toronto.com, torontolife.com, and eye.net are my lifelines to the city. That's where all the information comes from.

Stephanie offered her house... eeehhh. However, Stu's engagement party should be a party enough for all of us. I think it was planned for the 21st. He's still calling around for hall prices I believe.

School was so tiring today. My frickin' legs hurt from roaming up and down Yonge. Which reminds me... Some guys tried to J-walk across Yonge & Gould, and some cop flipped out on them. Started asking them "Do you want to die? Do you want to die?". hahaha. I was just laughing all the way back to Ryerson.

Speaking of which... I'm narrowing down my selection for my courses in the summer. I decided that if I ain't gonna work, I should do something with my spare time, eh?

It's come down to 5, from which I choose 3.

CPS 305 Computer Science: Data Structures
CPS 310 Computer Science: Computer Organization
CPS 611 Computer Science: Object-Oriented Programming
CPS 590 Compter Science: Introduction to Operating Systems
CPS 721 Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence

Either way... I'm in school all year round. So yeah.

I'm guessing all the other staffers are DEAD. I'm starting to wonder if you guys committed suicide yet. Strangely enough there are many types.... I laughed my ass off when I read that.

So yeah, someone else OTHER THAN Backstab or Liston please post! Coolio.

Can't Wait Till Christmas - Wednesday 11/28/01 4:15pm EST

I really can't wait. Too many math courses. It's sorta screwing my mind up.  What's weird is that I'm beginning to like Calculus... I used to not like calc so much because taking derivatives were a pain in the ass. But now it seems like it's so much better than the rest, because it isn't as abstract as Vector spaces, or Graph Theory etc.

About clubs... where did you find this info about the docks? Just wondering...

Just an idea but I think we should throw a Christmas party again.  If someone has a house available it'd be nice. And a nice little open area so we can pump up some music. If this is happening I'm even thinking of renting out some cd decks so we can mix and stuff.

Damn fobs next door are getting loud again. I can't stand their oooooooohhhs and ahhhhss or whatever they sound like.  They still piss me off a lot when they talk so damn loud at like 1:00 am at night.

ohh and where is everyone? By everyone I mean, Skieblade, Guru, and Etheral, Knobody and the rest?

Haven't Really Left In 3 Days - Tuesday 11/27/01 10:33pm EST

I haven't seen the sun in 3 days. First of all because it's fucking dark all the time now, even at 2pm. Secondly, I've been proving mathematical statements like crazy lately. I can prove stuff 15 different ways now. Sick, isn't it? I've only left my house once to buy Stronghold. Pretty fun game. Hardly any micromanagement of characters. I like it. If anyone wants a copy, it's yours. Wouldn't mind playing multi.

Oh yeah, helpful stuff for number sequences. I had this stupid sequence of 1, 5, 21, 85... damn. Try making an equation out of those fucking numbers! Luckily, I found The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences. WHAT A LIFE SAVER! Those of you who are/will take discrete math, or making explicit equations, this is a life saver.

I've been checking out New Years Eve Parties. The coolest one seems to be at The Docks. I don't know if anyone might be interested. It's 30 bucks, but wherever you go, you have to buy tickets anyways. First Night has no liquor, so that sucks ass.

Yeah, actually going to school tomorrow. Meeting with people and we're gonna figure out how we stand against our finals.

Madden 2002 - Sunday 11/25/01 9:05pm EST

That game is pretty fun.  I decided to buy it yesterday because I haven't bought a game in years... and I support EA.

The graphics are really sweet.  Gameplay is alright, but receivers drop too many passes in my opinion. Another thing that bothers me is the fact that you can't make your own plays.  You have to use those preset playbooks, and I've still yet to find flea flicker, or the double reverse pass. So I'll give this game an 8/10.

On a side note, I saw "Meaning of Life".  That movie makes no sense whatsoever but it's somewhat hilarious.

LOL, and why were they wearing helmets? HAHAH.

There Are Too Many Cups In My Room - Saturday 11/24/01 6:30pm EST

There are too many cups in my room.

Sometimes I bring drinks to my room, and of course I bring them up in a cup. But now there's 7 glass tumblers on my desk, and it starting to get a point where it's distracting.

I have to go to Blockbuster soon to pick up Meaning of Life, because the line to rent videos gets longer as Saturday night progresses.

I'm eating those Roasted Garlic n' Herb chips. Damn, they're amazing.

I found a website called Chipworld on my quest to find a picture of the Miss Vickie's. Damn... and I thought our website was stupid. :)

It was really strange at school yesterday. Personally, I like going to school on Fridays because all the upper year students go home early, so basically the computer science floor is all 1st year students. That was sort of fun... roaming around talking to people in my department. And I did some work too.

You know what else is amazing? They're called Pepperidge Farm Chocolate Chunk Big Cookies. There's only 8 of them in the box and it's about 3 bucks. They're also really bad for you. But damn, those are some fine cookies. I have a box in my room near my speakers.

I found a site that keeps listings for Anime shown at various universities. It can be found here.

Did you know that there's a subway station called "Charon"? It's one of the old abandoned ones. I'm not sure where it is either, but I saw a picture of the wording on tiles. It like those stations they built new ones over. Like, below Bay station and Queen station there's Old Bay and Old Queen. Sorta freaky when you think about it. I mean, if I was down there, I'd be totally freaked out.

On a final note, I've been reading Penny Arcade quite a bit lately. These guys are so damn sick and twisted. Too damn funny. I've started using them as wallpapers.
