Some Rambling - Friday 12/14/01 5:24pm EST

I haven't posted in a while been busy with CS and English 109M. Wow that English course is so gay. I went to about 3 lectures through the entire year. Why spend 1 hour in a lecture when the TA goes over everything in 20 minutes in the workshops. The mark is a report worth 70% of the final mark. That created some sleepless nights. CS was amazing. Got a nice 106%. Although I finished by 2:00am before it was due. Some guy named Chris had to bother me and ask for help. By the way Etheral's group submitted their project like 20 seconds before it was due. That has to be some kind of university record, haha. Besides that haven't done much, been playing Chaos Gate, while u people play Diablo II. Well off to study for my last exam CS. Is anyone going to Jin's Korean Christmas Party or something?

PS. Chris's hardcore character was killed, by a TOMB CREEPER none the less haha!!!

Diablo II - Thursday 12/13/01 10:50pm EST

We all got a hack that allowed us to play Diablo 2 1.09.  We're all playing hardcore now.  It's a lot more challenging but it's definitely more fun.  Plus you get better items.

Anyhow, back to Algebra.  2 more exams to go... one Friday then next Monday with CS.

I'm Fucking Tired of Studying Too - Tuesday 12/11/01 9:30pm EST

I know what you mean. I'm starting not to care about my courses any more. Discrete and Algebra we're the classes I really studied for, and they are DONE. Computer Science and Physics remains. I haven't done a single physics question for 6 weeks, and I hope to be ready for my third and final test.

I'm so bored out of my mind. Absolutely no intellectual stimulation. CS and Physics is all regurgitation... And my sleep schedule is all messed up.

Oh well. You know what... I need to get fucking high. Haven't done that in a very long time.

Well anyways, I finish exams on Friday. You guys are probably done about the same time.

I am so sick of studying... - Tuesday 12/11/01 8:10pm EST

Like wtf. School sucks so much, I don't recommend anyone to go into Software Engineering at Waterloo unless you really really really like math, this term is 5 math-related courses, and it blows.  I think overall 1A is terrible. In terms of studying.

The physics exam yesterday was so terribly disgusting, I don't even wanna talk about it.  I think it's the toughest exam that I've written, either that, or that the exam had lots of errors.  Hardly any of my answers corresponded with the ones on the multiple choice.  I think I'll be happy with a 64-65.  That way I can still get an 80 final... but I'll prolly get around a 60.  This really blows, especially when you're going into the exam with a 96%.

Tomorrow I have Discrete Math, I'm gonna have some fun with that. I'm only planning on doing all the computational questions and leave the proofs for the 2nd half and hopefully get a 70% on the exam.

Getting Ready for Physics - Sunday 12/9/01 11:55pm EST

Just a quick update before I go to sleep for the Physics Exam tomorrow.

Did I tell you I bought 100 packs of seasoned seaweed for $7 on Thursday? They're good shit.  I think I still have about 72 of them left at the moment.

Thanks Knobody for the song name.  Oh, and get a red tuque. Ecko is the shit.

Btw, I have done the Google search thing... nothing special came up really, too many Chinese people with my name.

On The Music Tip Once Again... - Saturday 12/8/01 11:59pm EST

I have exams this week and have done almost no work...  Well it's not my fault, everytime I look at stats, I either get sick of the stupidity, or find it so excessively easy that I shouldn't need to study.  Did I mention that I have a 50% on the dot, and with a 50% exam that means, that all I have to do is pass the exam to pass the course (which is all I really need, want higher, but all I need)  and with that university rule where you have to pass the exam to pass the course, it works out nicely.

Backstab: "Sweat" - Inner Circle (classic song...classic)

I looked up my name on google, and in one of the links it had my whole name, not just my first name, then a "..." then my last name, so I clicked on the link.  Turns out that there is a guy in Bangalore, India, with my name, and working in the computers field, (forget what he did).  What's weird, is that Bangalore is not too far from where my parents lived.  They visited there last time we were in India.  Well my mom and my uncle did, I stayed in my grandfather's house with my dad, I think cuz they didn't want to pay to get us cultured.

I kinda wanted to buy a red Ecko hat, but it looks like hats aren't really being marketed right now, so I'm gonna settle for an Ecko tuque.  Red or Black, somebody help me.  Either way I think I'm going with a red hat come spring.  And then in winter getting a fresh white UFT hat.  Oh ya that reminds me, to get my first hat, I had to sign up for a credit card, and well they sent it to me, and I was like what do I need a credit card for, and I cracked it and threw it away.  Well they sent me another one earlier this week, and I looked at it, and it says University of Toronto on it, and has a picture of Con Hall.  That was pretty sweet.  Somebody was asking me about a picture of UFT and if the building actually looked like the picture...ya that's the building on my credit card...so now it's sitting unactivated in my room.  If only it was a VISA damn Mastercard.

Last thing, since university started, I never had time to look for all the music I used to look for, I just downloaded a couple songs that I couldn't get out of my head.  Turns out that since my brother learned how to use the computer, he's been downloading a lot of the same stuff I would have downloaded if I use the computer.  Too bad he re-downloads things I download.  Oh well... I discovered this when I started finding time to download stuff again...so woohoo I'm on the music tip again.

Discrete Math Can Go Straight To Hell - Saturday 12/8/01 9:55pm EST

I just had the Discrete Math exam. Fuck that course, I am so done. So many damn set theory questions. What the hell is that? It made up almost 1/4 of the exam, and we only did a few sections on it.

It's only frickin' 10pm and I'm so damn tired. Life gets really strange when you have 4 alarm clocks around your bed so you can wake up at 6:30am to write a frickin' exam. I forgot it was Saturday too... I just kept saying that it was "n-day" and tomorrow would be "((n+1)-day).

Nevermind about that algebra question. Someone at school figured that one out for me. I was trying to convert a parametric equation of a line so I could turn it into a vector and put it into point-normal formula of a plane. Shit, that's what I get for not taking OAC algebra.

No, Earth does not exist at 5:30am. One day I woke up at 5:20am and all there was was blackness.

My pants are bothering me again. They're at a point where they're just my height. I hate that. They don't fall around my shoes right. C'mon boxing day.

Someone mentioned to me about ICQ Lite. I really don't know if you guys know about this, but it's ICQ running through a java script so you can access your system anywhere. Helpful when you're in the lab and you can't install stuff onto the registry. And you don't have to load your contact list, it connects and accesses your account.

You wanna do something strange? Go to google and search your first name and last name. If something freaky happens, like if you find a PICTURE OF YOURSELF TYPING ON GOOGLE SEARCHING YOUR NAME, drop me a line. That's frickin' wierd. (I before E except after C?)

I had Swiss Chalet for lunch. (BTW, this site has the freakiest introduction for chicken.)
