Sony and Square, aka Bastard Children of Satan

Well i'm done disc 1 on FF7, and i must say excellent job squaresoft. Sure my praise is many many year late, but a good game deserves it. It's no wonder that Square is making a MMORPG. they already got a legion of fans and they just want a way to print money.

I'm sorry Liston, even though, sony is a multi national corperation, but PS2 with FFXI will own. Sega was doing very well ( fan wise, not money wise) with the game phantsy star online. It attracted many fans, but the game coping killed them. PS2 with an even bigger following will do tons of damage to the market. Why? because money is finite. i dunno about you but my pockets is not bottomless. This is how evil playstation and square kills companies. They choose a medium which is uncopyable for now, but will be copyable later. (they discovered this by chance) They make their money off die hard fans first. Then when the medium, ie cds, becomes regularly copyable, they cash in on mass amounts of system sales.

Also with flagship companies like square, edios, capcom, EA and sega, they proceed to launch titles on other system launch dates. ie FFIV on 9/9/99 which happened to be the same day as sega dreamcast. So what does this have to do with finite money? Well instead of buying a new dreamcast, which i know i will love because sega is specatular, i'll buy FFVI. Once i spend 70-80 dollars on FFVI, i can't buy sega for awhile. This slows down inital system sales and brings public doubt upon the company! Sony and Square are evil, but i would without hesitation do the same. how do i know this is true? well they release the FFX close to system launch dates of Cube and Xbox. Slowing down their sales. Cube did something smart and chopped prices. Xbox is run by idiots, hoping system specs will do it all. Once FFXI comes out, sony system sales will go up and Square will have its license to print money. Kudo Square, i hate and love you.
