Week 3

Message from Skieblade - I am the last one to fill out this week's predictions, and I am currently baffled by Tom's predictions.  It must be the fact that

a) He's the only non-Asian on this website =)

b) He goes to Waterloo, further proving his brain is all scrambled

Anyways, here come my predictions.  If I lose to Tom this week, there will be hell to pay on Tuesday.

Green Bay (2-0) at Carolina (1-1)

Skieblade: Packers  Um, Tom, you're 0-1 at the moment.  Who the hell is the QB for Carolina?  
Backstab: Packers
EZ win for Brett Favre and the Packers. They look too good with the shutout win last week.
Tommyboy: Carolina
The packers have had a good start but they are so done this year!

Winner: Packers

Indianapolis (2-0) at New England (0-2)

Skieblade: Colts  Aight, Tom, you're 1-1 now.  If Peyton Manning and Randy Moss ever hook up, I will have an orgasm =)
Backstab: Colts.
No way in hell can New England win, now with Drew Bledsoe injured from that huge hit last week.
Tommyboy: Indy
Strong team, strong will, strong pick.

Winner: Patriots (OMFG!!!)

Kansas City (0-2) at Washington (0-2)

Skieblade: Chiefs Ok, throw up here.  I no longer know what Tom's record is.  Let's say he's right and is 2-1.  Saying Chiefs cuz I tossed a coin.
Backstab: Chiefs
Let's see, both teams are 0-2. Kansas City almost beat Oakland, Washington has scored 3 points in 2 games. Therefore my pick goes to Kansas City.
Tommyboy: Washington
Watch out redskins, they better win or else there will be huge problems in the future.

Winner: Chiefs

Miami (2-0) at St. Louis (2-0)

Skieblade: Miami Tom, you're either 3-1 now or 2-2.  Let's just say 3-1.  Miami cuz they have a defense.
Backstab: Rams
Rams own still, Kurt Warner still is somewhat elite and Miami lucked out against Oakland in my opinion.
Tommyboy: Miami
Miami will shut Warner down as easy as I shut down my computer.

Winner: Rams ($$ -NT-)

New Orleans (1-0) at N.Y. Giants (1-1)

Skieblade: Saints  Let's just say Tom is 3-2 now.  Saints cuz Giants suck and they'll use WTC event as an excuse.
Backstab: Saints
Tough to pick, but I think I'm going with the Saints this time. It'll be a close game.
Tommyboy: NYG
New York has a strong D and O that will make a W.

Winner: NYG

Pittsburgh (0-1) at Buffalo (0-2)

Skieblade: Steelers.  Tom = 3-3.  Kordell Stewart is da man.  Johnson is white, Stewart is black - that's all the matters.
Backstab: Bills
Both teams suck, but I'm going for the Bills, because Pittsburgh is total crap.
Tommyboy:Bills
Bills will take them at home no problem, I hate Johnson, but if they get Moulds the ball it will be all good.

Winner: Steelers

Tampa Bay (1-0) at Minnesota (0-2)

Skieblade:  Vikings Tom, you're 3-4.  Ok, I'm just saying this cuz Viking management read my response and will design every play for Randy Moss.
Backstab: Vikings
Let's see. Vikings sucked last 2 games. Tampa Bay has no offense, but lots of defense. I dunno, I'm going with Minnesota just because I think they're gonna bounce back.
Tommyboy: TB
The Vikings are a horrible excuse for a football team this year, until I am proven wrong the answer is to play against them.

Winner: Vikings

Atlanta (1-1) at Arizona (0-1)

Skieblade:  Cardinals.  Tom = 3-5.  Plummer will come through.  Is this an upset of Cardinals win??
Backstab: Falcons
Falcons are gonna win because they came close against the 49ers plus Arizona sorta sux?!
Tommyboy: Falcons
No explanation needed.

Winner: Falcons

Baltimore (1-1) at Denver (2-0)

Skieblade:  Broncos  Tom=3-6.  Um, let's just say the Ravens are such a fluke.
Backstab: Broncos
Broncos will continue to own and go straight thru the Baltimore defense.
Tommyboy: Ravens
You have to go with the Champs, last week was just not a good example of that.

Winner: Ravens

Cincinnati (2-0) at San Diego (2-0)

Skieblade:Bengals  Tom = 3-7.  Ouch, this is starting to hurt.  In Flutie you will die.  Flutie is not having an amazing year - it just looks like he is.
Backstab: Bengals
Oh man, game of the week. Cincinnati is doing so well this season, so is San Diego. This will be a close game, but I think John Kitna will do OK as he's got Cory Dillon. 
Tommyboy: San Diego

Winner: Chargers

Cleveland (1-1) at Jacksonville (2-0)

Skieblade: Jaguars  Tom = 3-8.  Tom, wanna call it a career?  Brunell Smith and McCardell = too much to handle.
Backstab: Jaguars
Jags continue to dominate... until post season.
Tommyboy: Browns
Jaguars got nothing and I just despise them, maybe I should start betting based on brain rather than emotion. =)

Winner: Browns

Seattle (1-1) at Oakland (1-1)

Skieblade: Raiders Finally, a win for Tom.  Tom = 4-8.  No explanation needed here.
Backstab: Raiders
No chance at all for Seattle, they have no offense. Oakland does though, so Oakland will win.
Tommyboy: Raiders

Winner: Raiders

Dallas (0-2) at Philadelphia (1-1)

Skieblade: Eagles  Tom = 5-8.  OOOHHH, another win for Tom.  This is as rare as someone splitting the red sea =)  McNabb=awesome.
Backstab: Eagles
Because Dallas sucks and I predict them to go something like 5-11 this season.
Tommyboy: Eagles

San Francisco (1-1) at N.Y. Jets (1-1)

Skieblade:  49ers  Tom=5-9.  Ok, who the hell takes the Jets over any team other than the Patriots?  Lol.  Thanks for coming out Tom =)
Backstab: 49ers
This is gonna be another close game, but NY Jets aren't that good this season and San Fran gave the Rams a good run last week.
