Dead tired, Deadbeats and lingo? - Monday 10/8/01 3:35pm EST

Well thus ends my shitty week, how shitty is shitty? Well for one thing, I went psycho, and you know how that just zaps the energy right out of you. So I pretty much had zero energy this week, or so I thought. Like every says, classical algebra sucks. My prof is ok, actually he is great. I think highly of him but the course still sucks. I don’t get much and understand even less. To show you that I’m not just a dumbass, I’ll prove it to you. On Tuesday night me Trevis, Dark Ice, Power Serge, and Avatar were in my room until about 5 am trying to figure out the algebra assignment. We didn’t even finish, in fact we were so tired that we eventually just accepted the wrong answers as right and went to sleep. So I had only 3 hrs of sleep until I had to wake up. Up at 8:00 crack of dawn (better known to me as asscrack of dawn) proceeded to class with almost no food in my stomach. All I had to eat was a block of cheese, carton of milk and a cup of coffee. If you know what kinda person I am, I never have coffee. I disagree with the drug like injection of caffeine every morning. But I needed a boost, Joel says it’s like speed for me. Well I proceeded to take a Psych midterm and I owned it, 88%. 88 is good considering I didn’t crack a book until 2 days before it. And I managed to read 25% of the course reading in those two nights. It’s really ironic that in the unbalanced state I was in, I still aced a Psych midterm. Well my day continued until 2:30 which seemed like some kinda odd torture. In my completely exhausted state I crawled into bed at 3:00 and woke up at 9:00 rested like groggy angry log and proceeded to study Calc until 1 ish. That what you get when you don’t do a week’s work and try to learn delta epsilon limits with minimal help. I ate somewhere in there, but I’m not sure if I dreamed it or not, I didn’t feel hungry or recall it. Woke up at 10:30 got to co-op 101 which is shit and I should place that on the shit list. Skipped my lab to continue studying for calc, Did my calc quiz!

Did you notice how quizzes in university became tests, tests midterms and exams life and death?

Well I took time to eat dinner at Brubakers. It’s Thursday so I had so roast beef. Very good I might add. One of the highlights of my week. When home to study for my philosophy quiz the next day, blinked, and heard the alarm of next day calling me and saying “your late bitch!” brush, dress and bolted out sans breakfast. (seems to be a theme) Bullshitted my philosophy and think I’m going to fail because my philosophy prof seems awfully smart. And now I’m here. Here is good, here is not anytime during this last week. Now it’s time to relax and let my brain’s alpha waves do it’s thing. So tired, dead tired.

That is a list of people who still haven’t paid the floor fund of our house. I call it a deadbeat list because, quite frankly they’re deadbeats right now. I’m sure they are nice people, I know most of them. It’s just really funny and mean for the Don to post up a list on every floor door and hallway corner of the following people who haven’t paid yet. I wonder if the villages have repo men?

Lingo? For those who don’t know, it’s a rather captivating French game show of skill and uncanny language mastery. Filled with dips and twists with such innovative concepts as “La balle noir” and “La balle rouge” It’s on the SRC everyday, but I’m not sure when, I just is on when I watch TV. Well in my CS class were bringing it over! Yes finally an English translation has arrived for you at home English Lingoers! We haven’t yet brought over the concept of “La balle noir” and “La balle rouge”, it is far too advanced for us. But we got the basics of guessing a five letter English word. Well this is an already an obscenely long post
