NFL Playoffs begin

Yeah... that means, the N3 Lounge will be occupied by me from 1-7pm tomorrow. Nah just joking. Anyhow today's games, Phili over Bucs 31-9, which means Rams will play the winner of 49ers/Packers, which should be really interesting. Looks like the Jets are out now, so yeah... NFL playoffs.

Calc 138 assignment was pretty tough, I think our prof didn't give enough examples on it. I spent like 2 -3 hours on it today and I'm still not done, there are too many questions... pretty ridiculous in my opinion. I need to remember how to do a bubble sort for my CS134 program. I'm pretty much done except for the sorting part, and the documention of course :P OK, time for some Risk 2210AD.

P.S. For the super bowl sunday, the N3 lounge is mine. No fucking Simpsons, malcolm in the middle etc.

Lame as it is

... but the "bartender" wasn't there at Fed this Thursday! So guess what happened... and why does everyone like to knock down my beer/drink EVERYTIME?? This time I put down my drink on the table and Joel just knocks it over right on to Tommyboy. AHahAHAH, I thought it was pretty funny, sorry dude. Still it wasn't as bad as that time when Farmland spilt all over me, but it was pretty funny when I embarassed the shit out of all of Tom's friends. Yah, SUCK THAT. :) The brown/black/pakistan/muslim whatever guy because it was dark and all and i can't tell the difference dude was a little pissed cuz the other half spilt on him.

Oh, I hate posers. I never realized but... a lot of people dance like fags and try to hit on girls. (Notice the AND, so if you dance like a fag and you do not hit on a girl (or the other way round), you're not a poser) Sigh. I think we should all make fun of those people. And I don't understand why so many clubs play hip-hop/r&b, when 93% of the crowd is white and most of them look more like rockers.

Guru, Liston and Knobody, and the rest of the TO crew, I'm coming back at 5:30pm today. I'll prolly be working tonight so, gimme a ring or something on Saturday. Knobody, you're a spammer, there.

Well I'm so bored!!!!!
Yeah tomorrow is Friday, last day of the week. When you work everyday Fridays are so much better than when your at school.

A Bunch of Fake People

There were these 3 people, two men and a lady, riding the subway at 12pm. They had the most meaningless conversation ever. In their late 30s probably. The last part of their conversation was how they were going to the ACC, and how they could get cheap hotdogs because one guy flirts with these two girls that work there. I dunno, really annoyed me today.

However, t'was a good day. I got off at noon.

Don't like your ICQ "uh-oh!" sound??? This'll blow your mind. Here's a file that replaces that damn sound and replaces it with MY VOICE. I'm assuming you know how to change ICQ's sound profile. Oh yeah, it's NOT A JAVA FILE, please rename to .wav. Tripod might have problems with sound files due to mp3 piracy and the such.

Just heard on the news that some 19 year old was tied up by his family for 3 days and died of thirst. Supposedly, it was some sort of punishment gone terribly wrong. Sometimes you wonder about people in this world, no?

Oh yes, it's that special moment when you see the first bum of 2002. There was a bum wearing a whole bunch of quilts holding a life sized replica of the Stanley Cup shouting opinions. Apparently, the topic today was "farting". According to the bum population, if you hold farts in, they come out of your mouth. All this wisdom while shaking the fake Stanley Cup over his head in triumph. Yes, life is interesting at Yonge and Dundas.

I'm waiting for XEmacs to load. XEmacs has to have the MOST SCREWED UP META KEYS ANYWHERE. For example, CRTL-V is scroll down. As well, mix that with XWindows (I've hardly ever used it before intensively), and you've got one confused Liston.

Oh yeah, all operating under Linux. Screw Microsoft. As soon as I'm confident in my linux stuff, I'm gonna load it and start using Gnome.

I've been at school quite a lot lately, and let me tell ya, it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. Usually I had the need to go home, but now I could really care less where I am.

City of Heroes looks fucking amazing. Don't you want to be a superhero?

Waterloo is Ghetto As Usual

Here's why. The pavements were literally covered with sheets of ice this morning. I almost fell on my ass about 10 times just walking to engineering this morning. I saw like two people fell today during my walk. Damn, they're slow, they started to pour salt down at around 8:30am... they should've done it at 7, wtf?

Two pieces of new articles up on PP. The NerdFest2K1 report, which was up two days ago, was never mentioned by Guru that it was up? I got bored and wrote a Madden 2002 Review. Both articles can be found in the "stuff" section, obviously.

Hmm... I'm thinking of taking BIO 139 Genetics in 2A term because I don't wanna take Quantum Physics or Optics yet (low female population :P). Cell Biology is also a consideration but I have NEVER taken any Bio before in my life. I actually should've taken OAC Bio or at least Gr 11 Bio in 2nd semester of last year but I was too goddamn lazy. Any suggestions on this? I can also take Chemistry 102, Microbiology, more Physics, or Earth Science.

With the influx of the number of posts as of late, I'm gonna see if these new settings in will work. Gonna try to see if I can limit the front page with 14 posts max. (yes yes it's a queer number but i'm just trying somethin new)

Its Good To Be Home

Hey what's up all u folks in Waterloo. Hope everyone is getting along as well as u can at university.
I've been at home chillin and working with home cooked meals umm. Having subs and something that looks like cooked meat as the central part of any diet can't be good. my coop job is goin ok, dealing with computer problems and stuff. Example: "hi I found a live mouse in my printer and now it doesn't work
what do i do" and stuff like that. But its ok i got my own cubical personal phone number and not one but two wheelie chairs. Corporate world here I come!!!
Anyways talked to some of you who are back at the loo. My roommate didn't have anyone move in when i left so he's got both of the interconnecting rooms, lucky guy. Anyways im off to bed gotta get my nap time in for work. I'll drop back in when i get more interesting news.
PS anyone here about the big reading week party up at waterloo please inform me!!

I'm sorta compless right now, I brought my AMD in there to have the cd rom and video card fixed. CD ROM got replaced no problem but they have to send the damn vid card to manufacturer so that's going to be about 2-4 days

I'm at Ryerson right now. I'm in the damned lab on the second damned day of the semester. I feel like such a nerd.

My psych class was cut from 2 hours to 35 minutes because the professor forgot the TV and VCR.

I'm really not looking forward to CPS393 Introduction to C and Unix. It's a 3 hour class, the first 3 hour class I'll ever have. Anyways... whatever.

Thursday and Friday is all good. I'm in school from 10 to 2 on those days. Tuesday and Wednesday is all bad. I'm in school from 9 till 6 on those days.

I'm planning to apply for work-study next semester. I hope that works out okay. Anyways....

Steve-O Complained About The Drunken Jamaican

Ya well much stuff went on over the last couple days...week...month, most of it's been documented so I'll let that be. But there are a couple of things that I want everyone to remember. Let's see...where to start, I got a ticket for parking in the J Lot at Waterloo, only a warning but still a bitch. We went to Fed hall and I accidentally ordered a pitcher of beer so I asked everyone to help me drink it, but more or less finished it before anyone could help out. As a result I knocked George's beer out of his hand and we spent a good part of the night dancing in beer. Nearly froze to death in the N-3 lounge. Went to some club in Waterloo called Revolution, and we had to park up some hill around the side of the club. Kevin decided to run back to the car and drop off our jackets so we wouldn't have to pay cover (crazy bastard), so I let him take mine. While we were in the club, some drunken girl fell towards where we were and pointed at Jay and started dancing in front of him, but he was sitting down so she danced with Liston until her friends took her drunken ass back. Umm that's the blunt of it.

Went to Dave and Buster's yesterday, saw a lot of old faces. But they were drunken faces and some of them said some stuff they probably shouldn't have said...that was interesting. And dealt with the crappy winter road conditions we have here. My stupid car was sliding all over the road again yesterday and today...but im getting used to the sliding and learning to control it better...still not a good thing tho. Anyways, time to get some sleep cuz I can't read what I'm blogging anymore.

Damn, I'm already starting to dislike school. Once I looked at that assignment 01 for CS134 I was like bleugggrh.
Argh school, school freaking sucks. What the hell is the point of me in Software Engineering, I mean what the hell am I going to end up with when I come out, I have no clue about software design and architecture right now and I'm not looking forward to it. It's the same shit every term, same people same place, but harder and more challenging stuff just keep piling in. To be honest with you I am starting to wonder why I'm in SE. I am so sick of math now, blah Calculus, no interest whatsoever, logic and computation, like wtf?? I wanna do some webpage design or something practical, or perhaps do some other stuff.

I'm not looking forward to ANYTHING at the moment. Life just goes on, so pointless, days pass, and I know I will pull off somewhat decent marks in 1B. The only thing I look forward to are replies from record labels from my Demo CDs. Everyday will be the same, go to classes, come back and play a game of Madden 2002, do work, eat dinner with people, come back and more work, sleep.

By the way, to everyone that don't know about this, I can only dance to drum'n'bass when I'm sober, oh I guess I can dance to garage too, but that's it.

Oh and Knobody has my BELT! LOL! I only realized that when he messaged me the other day "yo I still have your belt!"

Er I'm confused about what I just typed up, but yeeahh... I already miss the cab ride.

Everything Revisited

It's been a really crazy 3 week holiday and let me tell ya, I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks to all residents of UW for their hospitality.

I think I drank too much over the last 3 days. Oh well, it should tide me over until the next holiday... uh.. reading week perhaps?

I got my visa bill and my current bank account balance today. Damn, Christmas took it's toll BIG TIME, and considering I have no source of income, it doesn't make it easier that's for sure.

I'm looking forward to actually going to my OWN university for a change, I sorta forgot what it's like to be a Ryerson student.
