I Bent My Wookie

But first, vanilla coke sucks. We all know that coke is pretty much syrup, well vanilla coke is syrup with a shot of vanilla extract. I'm pretty sure we will say fareware to it like Coke II and Crystal Pepsi.

I bent my wookie. As in i bent my keys. I don't know how i bent them. But i was pretty smashed out of my mind on thrusday so that could probably be it. It was actually more bent, i just bent them back so that it could fit in the door again. I hope i don't have to pay for new ones. That would be a shame

Here is a picture of Colina. She is so well toasted that when i stopped helping her walk, because Trevis dropped my bike. She managed to walk her self into an electric box. On my way home, I lost drunk trevis who was holding my bike. I don't know where he went. I had some serious problems getting Colina home. For one thing, i didn't know where she lived. And she wouldn't tell me. She just kept repeating whatever i said. (keep in mind i was toasted as well)

Guru Mike : "So where do you live Queen Colina?" (the whole queen thing came from out of left field, i don't even remember much of that)
Colina : "So where do you live Queen Colina?"
Guru Mike : "I live at..."
Colina : "I live at ker....."
Guru Mike : *sigh*

When we got there, by the grace of god, we couldn't get in, her keys didn't work. At that point i was tired and about to spew. So i just brought Colina back to Beck. I saw my bike on the floor, so i knew trevis was ok. I put colina to bed, and decided to "hang out" at the john. Morning rolls around. Apparently when i lost trevis. He tried to ride my bike back, but kept falling off. He just eventually gave up and slept on somebody's lawn. But he was woken up by some asian stranger. He got up and then magically ended up back in Beck. He doesn't remember anything in between getting up and arriving back in his room. He doesn't know how he got my bike up the stairs, not opening any doors or anything.

Well, i'm not doing that again anytime soon. God, i can't wait until i can go home again next weekend. I'll see the whole polaris gang and parents soon. And as a treat, I put up a new gallery

Upsets

it's been interesting...
who knew poland could beat the US. that was nice, even though it didn't get them anywhere.
the croatia/italy game- damn cool. they need to be put in their place more (:
korea's looking very good against italy on tuesday [wednesday? this time difference thing is confusing].
my prediction is that Germany will take the cup.
final 4- brazil, japan, germany and korea.
but who the hell knows. two weeks ago, i would have willingly put money on argentina so...

Your Screwed in the Head

What are you on crack G?

DENMARK TO WIN??? Are you telling me denmark is going to beat ENGLAND and BRAZIL and whoever, probably Senegal by my thinking buy who knows.

Your right this world cup is wide open, but I think it is wide open for brazil to take. I like spain and Mexico as well. Both teams have had good showings and good drive. Of course I like Korea, they played a good game but Portugal also had 2 RED cards. Italy is looking to shaky, but I do like germany. So germany vs Brazil and brazil winning.

I have been following closely for I run the Leitch soccer pool!!

World Cup Ownage

Who would have thought that the "elites" that are France, Argentina, Portugal will be eliminated in the first round. Now all there's left is Brazil, Germany, Italy. And Italy WILL LOSE to Korea in the round of 16 because Italy sucks at soccer. =] What an interesting world cup, with Korea and Japan 1st in their respective groups.

Anyway from looking at the knockout diagram... looks like Germany has a somewhat easy way through to the semis. Brazil should do fine but have to face Denmark/England in the quarters. Spain also should get to the semis as they look very good but may have a tough time vs Japan. So my prediction are as follows : the 4 teams going in will be Brazil, Sweden, Spain and Germany. THese sound like ridiculous predictions but trust me, by the looks of this world cup, it looks like it's gonna happen. The final will be Sweden vs Germany with Sweden winning 2-0. So there ya have it. Sweden will win the Cup =]

Scooby Snacks

Watched Scooby Doo last night...err umm this morning...well 1:00. Yeah I'm a crazy mofo, but it was so good. Almost everything about the movie was perfect. But you can't watch it without seeing the cartoon in it, despite the fact that it is actual actors and computer graphics. Shaggy's voice is amazingly well done, and the entire movie had me laughing and saying out loud how it was exactly like the show. Daphne's character was a little out of place considering that she didn't do anything in the cartoon, and Velma and Fred seemed a little out of place, but it was still a phenomenal show. I recommend it to all fans of the Mystery Gang. Oh, we gotta go watch this after having some Scooby snacks. The movie is so trippy, which is expected since it was supposed to take place in hippie times. My only real complaint of the movie was that there are a lot of Wigger scenes, and if I was black I would feel so insulted, but since I'm brown it's just really weird. Overall well done, with a few minor glitches. Anybody who watched Scooby Doo as a kid will love it. Oh, for any of you who haven't heard, Scooby snacks are rumoured to be a metaphor for good old Mary-jane (which is coincidentally the name of one of the minor characters). So yeah, we gotta see it. Note to Randy: (explicits deleted).

Sarcasm... gotcha.

Just finished a game of Star Wars: Rebellion, one of the most intense realtime tactical-based games out there. Games could last 10 hours or longer, where mine was a mere six after giving up due to a headache and lack of food. It's all about who cracks first really.

Sense of Humour

Does anyone really have a sense of humour anymore. How stupid do you all think I am, if I wasn't joking about that shopping comment I dont know what is a joke. G, its kinda funny to see that rich has a fan, I certainly wish I had one. How do you get fans in a beta game first of all. Also, when is the release date set for now??

Whats the price going to be? Because I already saw like a movie poster type display at Future Shit yesterday.

Willy Wonka Magical

What a great day today! I mean just great. I actually started and finished and handed in my calc 2 days before the due date. I mean, for some who are clinlically hardworking/insane, that is regular as oat bran, but for me that like the walls of the universe collasping. Then I proceed to Brubakers for dinner. Guess what the head chef there offers me? Free chocolate! I mean this is good chocolate. Apparently normal chocolate is contains wax, but this chocolate, instead of wax, Coco butter. Yes you heard me, Coco butter. Melt in your mouth, willy wonka magical, women claim it's better than sex, chocolate. Did i mention that it was FREE! God, then what good weather today! A bit hazy, but at least it neither of the extremes. What a great day. It's so great that i don't even mind studying genetics for the rest of the night

Who saw the World beer games on city?? wtf was that? The guy drank a beer in 2.81 secs. holy mofo.

State of the Union

I've got to ask a serious question. Does Canada ever give a state of the union, or since we are not a union, state of the country, to tell us Canadians what the hell the government has planned. Do we just follow suit and agree with everything the American government says. On some points I agree but many I don't. Why don't we sort of talk about what our country has planned. The closest thing we have to it is a budget, and finances aren't the only thing in this world to be concerned about.

I say lets have an annual address and make it more important than a bi-weekly Jean Cretien cabinet firing. Down with the bloddy Liberals is what I say, but thats my only opinion. All for today.

PS Randy I'm sure Diana would go shopping with you, but I think you want guys clothes not girls, so why would you need her.

Up Until Now

Yeah. Haven't been posting because my computer is either attached to a LAN for JK2, or sitting unconnected on the floor of my living room. A 19 inch monitor is not something fun to lug around...

Anyways, been reading a lot (relative to what I usually read, which is nothing) on the subway. I'm hoping I can read a book per month based on subway time only. Tried to finish One Hundred Years of Solitude, but failed, so I read Slaughter-house Five again, this time all the way through. Just bought The Sirens of Titan from Indigo. God, I love Vonnegut. Did you know he was really was a survivor of the firebombing of Dresden?

As for summer courses, just had my midterm in Introduction to Management. In two weeks, I'll have my final exam. One of the aspects of a compressed summer course.

Coffee machine broke, forced to drink instant... yuck.

Down to two names for the Cavy (Guinea Pig). Either Gibbits or Parsley. I think he looks more like a Parsley than a Gibbits, but we'll see.

Need to shop for shorts and pants. Diana, if you're reading this, tell me a day you're free. (If anyone else wants to come for shorts and pants, they're welcome to do so)

Mike we know how you feel

Mike most of us can sympathize, we have all been there and faced these problems. School is school now, is the way I look at this seeminly unending battle with good versus evil. Course vs Pupil. You just have to buckle down and finish her off, and enjoy the good times as they come.

Keep up the posts.

The 'B' in beaver is for busy

I don't know about you guys but i've been busy like a beaver. Midterm on top of quiz on top of assignment on top of Co-op. It was like one giant orgy of stress and destruction that headed my way. Well, actually i'm in the middle of the week where things aren't so bad, but not great and not looking great in the future. Enough about orgies and beavers, I'm sure you interested in other things.

You know what my go to snack is now? ( Go To Snack being the food which you most often consume when you either have nothing else to eat or too lazy to make something decent) I go to pizza pockets. Whether morning noon or night, it's possible for me to have a pizza pocket. I mean what else gives you that warm sensation in your belly that is the pizza pocket? What else is good to go in 90 secs ? Personally I'm sickened by my lack of cooking. But what can you do when your as lazy as i am. So i pronounce Pizza Pockets to now be the breakfast of champions, nectar of the gods, the human equivalent of ambrosia, and whatever flowerly epitet you can give it.

I'm attempting to expand my vocabulary, so i subscribed to dictionary.com's word of the day list. Today's word is garrulous, which means wordy or talks to much. I can only think of too many examples. Plus I want to recieve email.

All along the watchtower

How can we survive

3 Days without a post, I'm wondering why this site is still up. Did cliff loose internet access or something come on!! What is everyone up to now, working?? Randy haven't heard from you in while. So a couple of weeks ago St Robs had in some old students to talk about university life. They had great examples of good balanced students in Melissa and Jonille. Then someone must have been on crack for they had great examples of people in Ashley Goodbody, Celine, and Natalie. Talk about great examples. Oh well!!!

Back to work for now.
