The Indoor route...
for the newbies =P
Here's the connection:
MC - DC - E3 - E2/CPH - RCH - DWE
From MC, 3rd floor SE corner there's a skywalk to DC.
Then from DC, stay on 2nd floor, turn right in the direction of the library, don't go down, keep going, turn left into one of those narrow corridors, turn right again, walk past the ECE department (should be on your right), there should be an exit sign pointing left, turn in there, go down the stairs. Once you're down, turn right, then right again and you'll be in E3. Go straight for a while and you'll be in E2. To CPH, turn left at that intersection. To RCH, turn right at intersection, pass the Systems Design hall, downstairs turn left and you'll be in RCH. Go straight, pass the middle area, and you'll be in DWE.
I'm not sure if there's a route that connects CPH to DWE... I'm not sure about that one as I'm a bit unfamiliar with those 2 buildings.

note to self. be less quiet.
i go to waterloo. also, my roommate, the anti-party animal goes home pretty much every weekend. [or so i've come to think. we don't really talk that much] someone could potentially stay here because i would have an extra bed. otherwise, if there are major space issues, we've got a decent amount of floor space and three very comfy [!] beck hall chairs which i have slept on too many times to count. so let me know.
as for midterms, well...15th, 17, 21, 23, 25. yes. being an engineer =can= suck. but at least i don't start next week like the rest of the non-engineering folk. of course most of their classes don't even have final exams but... fuck that. i'll bitch about it when final time comes around.
on the other hand, it's only 10 on a saturday morning [i went to bed around 3. damn phone call woke me up] and i'm already on cup of coffee #2, so i might not be making much sense. anyways...
back to my regularly scheduled programming.
p.s. do DC and MC really connect to engineering? knowing these things when it's raining is a =good= idea.

Damn guards
I started playing Morrowind again, it's pretty cool, I finally leveled up, I didn't even know you could level up cuz I didn't do so until recently. I also found out that you can kill anybody you want as long as there isn't anybody else around to report your crime, so while everybody thinks I'm a "good" character, I've secretly been killing people when they're alone in their houses, it's kinda disturbing, but I'm getting great magical items! And don't try to take on those guards, they kicked my ass.
Ok, who's coming up for October fest this year? I don't think the engineers want too many people staying in our house at that time because of mid-terms, cleaning up, etc. I'm guessing they wouldn't mind around 2 or 3 people, but I'll check with them when they get back. Of course if there are more people, they can always live with Nick or Dave, but you should ask them first. Who else do we know that goes to Waterloo? Damn, I can't remember anymore, oh yeah, Mike is off stream now, damn, ok. Dah, now I'm talking to myself, ok, bed time.

This post obviously concerns about Oktoberfest, I'm still wondering which weekend you guys should come up. Here's a run-down at my midterm schedule.
Thursday October 10th 2002 - CS241

TBA - ECE 222
So you guys are coming probably before 2 of my midterms. I really hope ECE 222 midterm is before you guys come up otherwise I'm pretty fucked. I still haven't told anyone in this house yet about you guys staying but I think they're cool with it.
This week was painful... 6 assignments, finished them all. Bleh... I don't know how to study these courses anymore. There isn't a point in studying, it's all "if you get it or you don't" stuff. Then again maybe you can study for Chem. It's funny though, I did not pay attention at all this week in chemistry, like what the fuck are all the gas laws? I have no idea what PV=nRT mean but I'm pretty sure I can do those stupid questions... yawn.
I think you guys will think this is hilarious, but I applied to be a CS 121/122/131/132 Tutor for co-op next term. This is gonna be my backup plan, I figured, my 91 in CS130 may actually be worthwhile. Being a tutor means you'll be doing some marking and proctoring midterms/exams, writing some scripts, updating webpage, help students in general and teach/help grad students do their tutorials. It'll be pure jokes though to see me doing a tutorial in front of a bunch of 1st years. LOL I can't imagine... it'd be like... "Fuck man I dunno, Karel sucks, Java sucks, references suck, object oriented sucks, polymorphism sucks, and you suck."
I'm glad that the Brunny reopened... good times. Seriously now if my ugly chick next door magically turned hot that would be awesome. =P

Yeah Brunny
You know what the brunny is like now? She like the the ugly chick next door that you always hang out with. You know good friends good times. Then suddenly either puberty hits her or she magically get a makeover. Now the girly next door is hot like nobody's (not Knobody)(hmm double negative crap) mom and instead of kicking your hobo ass to the curb, you have good times except this time around she's hot. Yeah that's what the brunny is like. Basically the brunny gets a face life. The lower level is still dirt, but i think they patched the hole in the roof. The upper floor and the washrooms look sanitary now. Wow. We were very surprised. No grout on the walls and the sinks look like they'll actually faciliate cleaning your hands instead of just making them dirtier. The brunny has a full meau now, but i'm still wary about ordering a steak. The brunny not even close to madison avenue, but i honestly can't call brunny a hole in the ground with a liquor license.
My next paragraph shall be entitled

Hehe... Anastasia is my character in the hardcore RPG Neverwinter Nights. She's a ranger that wields 2 swords, and her familiar is a dire wolf. Right now she's level 7, doesn't do a lot of damage, but her dex is pretty high so she rarely misses people.

Oh my god, I might know him, ask him if he knows me, he might not remember my name so well you can bring up my dad, Rolfe, otherwise if it's the guy i know, he has 2 older brother. No other siblings. This is freaky. OK well when is Thanksgiving??? Liston, when are you going up week of or week after (date please). Ummm... Yeah I hope Brunny is still dank. Various Thingys
Gees guys, so many posts in a 48 hr time frame... :)
anyways...
In my new Gamecube game 'Animal Crossing', I was talking to Filbert (A virtual blue squirrel), and he noticed in my inventory that I was carrying a giant Nintendo Icon (that I recently purchased at the store). He told me that it would look great in his collection, and that he would trade me for a ruby econo-chair. How could I say no to Filbert? He's the coolest animal in the crossing, so we traded. The ruby econo-chair had a story to go with it though. He told me that it was given to him by his uncle who gave him the chair, then told him "Today, you are a man.". lol. That game's so nutty.
Swollen Members was live @ Much just a few hours ago. Damnit, should've gone to see them. Prevail was hanging off the ceiling while performing "Lady Venom".
Updates on Fake-o. I think he's hitting on Dot (uhh, Guru should know who this girl is... red shirt? remember?) So yeah. I dunno, he tries to sit beside her, but she keeps moving away. I'm both disgusted and slightly pissed... lol.
Yes, Oktoberfest festivities begin on the weekend of Thanksgiving, but I think last year we went the week after, and it was still all good. If it's okay with everyone, I'd like to go on that day. Might be able to drive (God, I'd like to). Hey GT, could you check if your house is cool with a few people staying for the weekend? Don't want to come unwelcomed. Tell them I'm bringing K.K doughnuts. :)
Oh yeah, THE FUCKING BRUNSWICK HOUSE IS FUCKING OPEN. I really hope they cleaned up that place. Maybe changed the picnic tables? So yeah, tomorrow. Rock.

Hmm, no seriously how did you know it was that song? I thought Artful Dodger is pretty unknown over here... don't tell me you listen to them!! I don't know what's wrong with me, but that song "Think About Me" has been stuck in my head for almost a month... I don't know why, it just keeps coming back. I first started listening to this tune in Calgary because I had it on my harddrive and then started to sing to the tune. Anyway, this tune still reminds me some stuff about Calgary... but I think in about a year or so, it's gonna remind of September 2002.... lol
Speaking of which, do you people associate songs with your time periods of life? Because I do. Every single decent song reminds of something, some time period, or some occasion, or some person (rarely) etc. I think this is pretty interesting. Like the song "Around The World" by Daft Punk reminds of Boston totally etc etc... I can keep going, but you knwo what I'm talking about.

Chrono Canada
It's Cliff #2 because who we used to call fake cliff at Ryerson, was changed to Fake-O. The reason behind this was, even though he dressed like Cliff, his behavior and attitude were horrible. So horrible that it was doing Cliff a great dishonour calling him Fake Cliff. So thus we just dropped the cliff and tacked on an -O. But i have yet to inspect this proposed Cliff #2, so i will be determined whether or not he is fit for the name of cliff soon enough. Knobody, let's hope he's worthy.
Let's rewind to a point in time, just before i got my job. I would like to take the time to right a great wrong. I feel that i didn't do a good enough post on the fact that i am now employed. So without further ado, and with left over frosh like enthuisasm.

Pants Pants and More Pants
I went pants nuts today and bought three pairs at Old Navy. I couldn't help myself, they were soooo cheap and fit. Damn the GAP and Old Navy. Curses, whenever i think that i can escape their grasp they go and have a sale. Bitches. I'm fondly remined of Liston choice. "hmm let see, go to school or shop at Old Navy? ... Old Navy it is"
My extra tripod account just turned over and died. So that means that some gallary pics are down. Apparently i can't just use tripod to host pictures. i need to figure out away around it. I was going to post up a new gallary. Since i have a digital camera, i can take all the stupid pictures i want. The gallery was going to be entiled "breakfast of champions". But Tripod is being a ho.
Did i mention that i got a job? Through Co-op none the less. Suprised the hell outta me. Yes now i work for North American Serch group. I work from 8-5, 5 days a week and i get paid ziltch. Nothing, nada, zero, null value. Love that co-op. Well on the positive side, i get to learn C#, ASP.net and SQL. So that would make me a qualitifed person next term. But this term looks like i'll have to tough it out.
