Take Two
As per usual, i was reading Penny Arcade, and Tycho pointed me to something interesting. Spliter Cell is yet another tom clancy game. This one sounds soooo good. It reminds me of metal gear solid which is a damned good game. I loved it. What particularly interest me is not only the sneaking around but it's the non fighting options. If you go to the site, click on game info, then on Sam fisher id. Then on nonplayer character linked moves.
Take notice on the options to "move body" and i very enjoyed what UBI soft (the developer) considers "interrogation". Human shield sounds like a some interesting times as well. I'm assuming this game will be mainly single player because i'd have too much fun using the hujman shield option in multiplayer. If i weren't playing AC2, i'd go out and buy this game ASAP. Nothing like moving bodies around and interrogating people to spruce up your day.
Oh and the Split jump shooting looks amazing as well

In something completely off topic, (it's always something completely off topic with me, it's like i'm anti-common sense or something, but i'm getting off-offtopic) the only shows i watch on tv now are smallville and scrubs. Scrubs rocks, and well Smallville is a town full of beautiful people. Watch Scrubs, it's got the Guru Mike seal of approval. Smallville doesn't, why? because it's a terrible show with just pretty faces. I could only imagine what the sales pitch to the network was like. "close your eyes, picture in your mind, dawson's creek. Now imagine everyone is better looking, cut out most of the normal teenage angst problems and whatever problems remain make sure you solve them with SUPERPOWERS! Yes that's right imagine the gang at dawson's creek with superpowers! in fact give the whole town's shady underside superpowers!"
I've concluded that is pretty much what smallville is. What makes me laugh even more is the town's shady underside. Why does smallville have a shady underside? it barely has a mall and it seems to have a whole load of freaks tucked away in every nook and cranny.

Canadian Release Dates
You know what sucks? Video game release dates. I go to eb.com to check when new stuff is coming out, but you always have to add 3 days to the US release day. Fuck, can't tell you how many times I've walked into EB and asked "is so-n-so out yet?" and they say, "No, in 3 days". Fuk.

No One Lives Forever 2
Hmm, played the demo today.
I have to say, it was pretty fun. The game is like a Bond/Rogue Spear hybrid, except Bond is a chick. It's sorta different than Rogue Spear in that you get to loot people's corpses. The sleeping grenade and stun gun is pretty funny too. You can stun the guy so he falls asleep, take his gun and ammo, wake him up and watch him be all confused as you own him. The graphics looks pretty neat, pretty smooth considering I was running 1152x864 with max detail. I think the game has earned the coolness and I will soon put up the poster in my room. =]

AC 2 Beta now open for real
My friend Puloxor told me to get a key yesterday and I got one. It's now available for free. All you gotta do is download the beta from FilePlanet, open the launcher and voila, you get the key. It's each gamespy login per key so you can only get one.
I tried it for about half an hour today and to be honest, I'm confused. It's quite different from AC1. And...I have no idea what skills to get for my Tumerok Mage (not using a hot chick because all the girls have weird hair in that game =[ ) My character looks like a Kangeroo though, it's pretty funny, and my hairstyle looks Jamaican with the dreads and all. Anyhow, I don't think I'm gonna play this game a lot, games really kill me, and its just beta anyway. I'll be getting the real game in Christmas though.

This Weekend

Spammed by IBM Canada
I checked my mail yesterday and I got this garbage.
It tells me that I applied to like 25 of their jobs but I only applied to 1 of them... then I go on Access and see that I got rejected. Nice. IBM seriously needs to upgrade their automated email system because this is just making them look really bad. =[
Big up to Dofasco! I don't know if you all know that I applied to 3 wrong jobs, and one of them ended up being Dofasco. It's an Intermediate/Senior job that's restricted to Electrical engineers only, 1 opening, yet I somehow got an interview for it!! Gotta love how I get rejected by junior web developer jobs that require nothing but HTML/Frontpage, while I get an interview for some jobs that I am totally not qualified for =] I love that.
I really needed a clipboard because I'm getting sick and tired of carrying binders, but I never got around to buy one until yesterday. I went to Pharmasave first because it was on the way and I saw Jazz there. Talked to him for a while, haven't seem him for so long. Talking to him reminds of grade school it's pretty funny, glad to hear he's in Sheridan tearing it up. Finally got the clipboard at Staples and saw a few more St Robs people, not in my grade. Bleh, that's what happens when you shop in ghetto Richmond Hill.
