Lighning does strike the same place twice

In our case, three times. Jon has also experienced car troubles from what i have heard. I have a theory that i'm next, but that's ludacris! errr i mean ludicrous.

Ignoring that last link, what is crazy is google's technology. Don't ask how i came upon this information, I JUST DID.

It really weird writing for polaris now because i now live with backstab. I mean what the hell am i supposed to write? I don't understand how i used to handle school, high school that is. I mean i had 6 hours of class. I now have 3 hours of lectures a day and i can never ever stay awake. I sleep like 5 mins of every class. It's quite bad, but who the hell cares? I guess i'm getting old.

The first week wasn't so bad. The walk back from school is long and very cold. Soon i'll be swamped with work, hell i have to put some more work into my work report, but i'm taking a break this Sat. Soon i'll be swamped with work, all math(CS work is just another form of math) I'm quite looking forward for some crazy high jinxs this weekend, and when Black Sun Empire come to town. Never been to a DnB club before, i should prove to be interesting. (note, need ear plugs)

I've also noted a slow decline of psychoitc posts from me. Must be sanity setting in or my life is a bore. It's really a shame that becoming shamlessly drunk has worn out on me.

Avril Lavigne has her own virus, i thought it would do nothing but annoy the fuck out of you, but apparently it just forces you to her site. Which doesn't classify as "annoy the fuck out of me" but it's comming along. (i'm swearing again, must school related, must stop...)

Enough about music i don't like, if we had a Nickleback link, we have some kinda evil alliance.

What an eventful week

Sorry that I haven't been posting for the last few days, but I've been DEAD tired. However, I'm sure you guys would love to hear this.

Thursday was an unbelievably long day. It started off well, I was gonna get off early that day at 5:30 because I've finished my stuff a little quicker than usual, but here's when things start to go wrong. Long story cut short, my car wouldn't start. Earlier in the day my car was acting a bit weird while I was driving back from lunch. The speedometer occasionally jumps to 0 when I was at low rev and my air con/heater shuts off also for a split second. Because of this, I was already a bit worried about the car. And it wasn't the battery. I could "start" my car, but once you let go of the key after you start it, the engine dies. Anyway, called Guru and Alyssa to come and see if jump starting would work. Failed. So I had to call CAA and the tow truck dude towed my car to Waterloo Honda... because apparently Fairview Acura in Kitchener have gates there. (He was right, confirmed, saw it with my own eyes) I ended up leaving that parking lot at 7:30, after dinner and a trip to Future Shop, we all got home at around 9:45.

So yeah, no car means that Alyssa have to drive me to work, which really is a hassle. I just remembered that I'm supposed to meet the drum and bass DJ at Waterloo radio at 7pm in front of DC library to drop off the CD. It really sucks without a car.

So now, Friday. I was dropped off at Tim Horton's, ate some stuff and walked over to work. Made a few phone calls. Went to Waterloo Honda with Alyssa at 12 and ate lunch at Wendy's. Now back at work, Waterloo Honda called back at about 3pm telling me that they knew what was wrong. Ignition switch is screwed up, needs to be replaced. 200 and tax for the part and service. Yay.......not really. That sux. So now after work, 7pm, met the DJ, gave him the CD, now gotta look forward to the sunday show because he said he would rinse some of my tunes. Heh anyway, after dinner me and Guru decided to pack for Toronto. So we did and Alyssa once again decided to drive us down. Well here's where things begin to get interesting again. We were near the Kitchener bus station, and all of a sudden her battery signal thing turned on indicating that the car's low on batteries. Hmm... not good. I could even tell that the lights on her dashboard and everything was getting dimmer, so something was wrong. We told her to drive back and hope for the best... don't turn off the engine at all cost. Anyhow while me and Guru in the greyhound, we called back, and Alyssa got home and couldn't start her car anymore. The battery was dead. Wow... both the cars are dead. Great.

I got home last night at 12:30... it was a long ride from Dundas to Finch obviously. But yeah, to sum it up. It's been a very strange last 2 days and a very eventful week. It has been a long day everyday for me and I'm glad I'm home. Only problem now is that I don't know how I'm going to get my car back on Monday at the moment. Walking to Conestoga is not an option.

Work / Driving / Pedestrians

To say the least, work is pretty hardcore at the moment. I'm working basically from 9 to 6-ish. I think I'm getting used to this lifestyle though. The thing though is that you go home and you have nothing to do and I have this weird feeling that I need to something. Too bad I can't be making tunes at the moment because my latest stuff has been getting quite a bit of attention.

Anyway, I've been driving quite a bit for the last few days and it's just weird... I've been listening to those drum and bass tapes from OAC still. They remind of that semester where we all played AC and we'd go out for lunch and go to Blue Sky in our second period class. So here I am driving, and there's Guru sitting beside me, listening to my old mix tapes (horrible mixing to say the least haha). The fact that it is so reminiscent of OAC is pretty funny in my opinion.

Do pedestrians who don't follow the rules of traffic piss you off? I almost ran over some guy today because this guy walked on a RED light. It was RED and I wanted to make a right, since it was clear I decided to turn... and guess what? Some guy crossing the street... WTF? I should've used the horn on him.

Sorry Liston, don't have any of those books but...
Programming with Style is a damn sek-c title.

...

Torontonians are a bunch of stupid fuck heads. Why the fuck do they pay so much for Leaf tickets. Don't they know that Toronto Maple Leaf tickets are the most expensive sporting tickets in North America? Fuckin pieces of shit, stop paying so much money for these tickets and the price will go down! (That and all the games are sold out with the exception of those damn 400 dollar tickets)

It's Sorta Like Meeting Yourself In The Future...

Okay.

So here I am, waiting for futureshop.ca to deliver MG4 by Mondo Grosso (Japanese acid-jazzy, two-steppin', gospel lovin' Dee-Jay), and I'm trying to find the lyrics to a track called "Now You Know Better" by Mondo Grosso featuring Amel Larrieux (formerly of Groove Theory), so I search on google.ca. And guess what I find? An old post that I did awhile back talking about... you guessed it... "Now You Know Better" by Mondo Grosso featuring Amel Larrieux. Strange huh? Here's the search link.

Also strange enough, is that apparently, I've bought the last copy of MG4 from futureshop. Either that or a whole shitload of people are now reading PP, believing all the stuff that we say as gospel truth, and going out to purchase CDs that we purchase.... hmm, interesting thought.

In other musical news, Vertical Horizon has put two of their formerly un-released music on their website. A Christmas song, and another track called "Inside". "Inside" is really strange because it uses violins, but it grows on you if you listen to it more than once.

I need a game/stuff to do

I come home from work and I have absolutely nothing to do. It's weird because you have no homework, nothing to do. So I just went to sleep. So now I wake up and ask myself, hmm... what should I do? Yeah so as you can see I'm bored. And I need a game.

We don't even have a TV in the house right now so yeah it's quite terrible. The guy downstairs has a very small TV but he decided to keep it in his room... bastard. And he has no cable down there and that boggles my mind.

I'm thinking of getting a game like Medal of Honor or something that'll keep me busy for the next few months... maybe I'll get it now... hmm
