Battlefield Earth and Jason X = best movies ever. What a lifetime experience that would be to watch these guys back 2 back at 3am in the morning on Saturday night, while eating some Popeye's and Mama's pizza.

My last war related post, promise.
Scenario: You come home after work and find out that your family has been taken hostage by a convicted murderer. He's currently holding them hostage in your house and the police have it surrounded. Now, the police chief says to you "Son, we need your permission to start throwing grenades into and shooting rockets at your house cuz we wanna nail this sucker. Now we realize your family is in there, but their sacrifice will be worth it because this murderer will never strike again after this."
What do you do?
Now say a madman named, I dunno, Saddam Hussein is currently holding the civilians of Iraq hostage. The Americans want your advice on what to do. They say "we've gotta bomb the shit out of Iraq to get this guy. He's committed so many attrocities, we've gotta get rid of him!"

Sure it's easy to support the war if you're sitting in your comfortable home with your loving family around you. But try to think about it from their perspective. That's all I ask. If you can still say "I'd support the war even if I have no limbs and my entire family is dead", then I'll admit your claim is legit.
Edit: I'm full of rage at the moment, so I don't know what I'm saying. But when you do die and you're standing face to face with God, I want you to look him in the eyes and tell him that you support the murder of these children. I want you to tell God that these childrens lives don't matter, that their suffering and deaths were worthwhile. Then I want to see how deep down into hell he bitch slaps you.

What are the worst things you've ever done at work?
I took a 3 hour lunch once, and I printed out a list of the entire NHL's roster to update my NHL2003 rosters.

Kaberle Stays
I think Kaberle, like Sundin, gets critisized for no reason in this city.
The 3rd goal was NOT Kaberle's fault and if you played hockey you would know that, the forward should be at the point waiting for the puck to clear. Kaberle just made the traditional play and the forward wasn't where he was supposed to be. And yes KIM Johnsson did miss a shot but Chechmanek bailed the flyers out on numerous occasions. Good old JR should be decapitated.

Random Stuff
Well I went out to see the Leafs game instead of studying for Econ102. Oh well hopefully it doesn't kill me too much.
Anyways, it was a good game overall. Leaf's actually outshot the flyers which is amazing. Although Kaberle scored two goals I still believe he messes up too much.
That last flyer's goal was all his fault. Overall though a good game by the Leafs. Mim Johnsson's new worst nightmare is the post, have no idea how he missed that open shot.
On more hockey news, full points go to the Might Ducks, who now lead Detroit 3 games to 0.
Saw the Matrix Reloaded Trailer. Pretty sweet, should be a good movie can't wait to see it

interesting. etheral said it first! on march 26. i think i've overcome my fears of living in richmond hill, getting it and dying though. more people die of the flu each year. still. the fact that i work a couple of [large] blocks away from york central does cause one to worry sometimes.
hopefully now that the weather is improving, it'll go back into its virus dormancy
ha. i've done a good job on monopolizing air time this week. i swear, i'll shut up now. my work report desperately cries out for attention.

heh. it seems to be the language of choice these days. anyways, my sister seems to be doing fairly well at it [given that she's in japan now and she's managing to..you know, live] so i'm sure that it shouldn't be a gigantic problem for anyone else.
and besides. when you're stuck out in guelph for an entire summer, time won't be a concern. [unless you really get into cow tipping. or something]

I'm an idiot
It's true, i am an idiot. i decided to wake up and go websurfing, you know, to catch up on stuff and see what i have been missing. Well apparently i missed something. Now i won't stop thinking about it until the end of school.
Golden Sun 2 is going to be out in 1 day.
i've been waiting for this game for quite a while. Check it out, i've heard nothing but good things from this game. As with everything that has an origin from japan, i've contemplated learning japanese. You know, to play the lastest FF game or read manga and of course watch unsubbed anime. Then those thoughts are quite quickly crushed by the fact that i have no time for such an investment. I barely speak chinese and I think about becoming fully literate in japanese? ha ha ha ha, *sigh*
I am an idiot, if i didn't go looking for Golden Sun 2, then i wouldn't want to play it. Oh Crap monkeys!
(PS: i'm downloading the Matrix: Reloaded Trailer, i didn't even know that it i was slated to come out)
