Apple claims that the iPod Hi-Fi delivers audiophile-quality sound, the kind of audacious claim that causes true audiophiles to sizzle and hiss and pop like so many overly excited vacuum tubes. Even casual music buffs will be able to hear the system's relative deficiencies. Would I replace my better-than-average home stereo with an iPod Hi-Fi? No way; I'd just patch my iPod into the receiver. Nor would I replace the Logitech surround-sound computer speakers through which I do most of my digital music listening, even though the Hi-Fi connects to any computer through analog or digital audio cables.

How times have changed...
An article from 1up chronicling a group of children's experience with some "classic" video games, and the ensuing explanations for why they sucked so much.
Regarding Tetris: "I just lined up six of the same color. Why didn't they blow up?" ... lol, stupid kids.

Boozer Vs Prince!!
From our friends from Dime Magazine, Check this out.........
Trust us, we are not making this up. Carlos Boozer is reportedly suing Prince. The dispute is over unauthorized work done on a 10-bedroom Hollywood mansion that Boozer's real estate company has been renting out to Prince's record label at $70K per month. Boozer's company claims Prince's label violated the lease by painting the exterior of the house purple, including the famous Prince symbol and 3121, the name of Prince's new album. On the inside of the house, purple carpet was put in the master bedroom and extra plumbing was added to another bedroom to operate beauty salon chairs. Prince doesn't live in the mansion, by the way. He's using it to hold a private concert for fans that find special "purple tickets" inside random 3121 CD cases. So, basically, Prince is the new Willy Wonka. ...
Enjoy, Later days

Tom Cruise vs. 'South Park'? Parker and Stone: 'Million-year war for Earth has just begun
LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Actor Tom Cruise threatened to boycott promotion of his upcoming Paramount Pictures film unless a sister cable TV network pulled a "South Park" rerun lampooning the Church of Scientology, industry sources said on Friday.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the crudely animated cartoon hit, issued a quirky statement, filled with references to Scientology and the science-fiction writings of church founder L. Ron Hubbard, suggesting Scientology was behind the scheduling change. "So, Scientology, you have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for Earth has just begun," the pair wrote. "Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies. Curses and drat! You have obstructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail! Hail Xenu!!!"
