A new war is coming
War with Iran is coming. American media has already Begun demonizing Iran and it's leaders to win public support for the US Armies next campaign.
Headlines from US Propoganda News (I mean CNN) over the past few weeks:
Iran says another 'top secret' missile tested
Iran says has tested 2nd missile (interesting statement near the bottom of the article) "It has not been possible to independently verify Iran's claims for the new armaments."
Rice: Iran a 'troublesome regime'
Iran: High-speed underwater missile test-fired
Report: Iran nuclear draft diluted

Why we fight
In contrast to my post yesterday about the horrible documentary about Wal-Mart, the BBC documentary "Why we fight" is an extremely informative and well written piece about the American war machine being driven by weapons manufacturers and how the American Government has been manipulating public opnion since the war in Vietnam. I highly recommend you guys watch this film.
Basically the film talks about "American Amnesia" which is the phenomenon where the American public quickly forgets about large scale events that transpired within their lifetimes. The film outlines a warning given by President Eisenhower during his last days as president about the American public having to remain vigilant and educated about world events, and how they have to beware of the "Military Industrial Complex".
"God help this country when someone sits at this desk that doesn't know as much about the military as I do." -Former President Dwight Eisenhower
Anyways, watch the film and tell me what you think. If you're going to say "oh, this is just another piece of anti-american propoganda", then I really hope you can back up your comment. I know a few of you (I won't name names) said that Fahrenheit 9-11 was just Anti-American propoganda. I haven't actually seen it so I don't know for sure, but I really hope you watched the film, you did the research and you know what you're talking about before you say that.
