WoW Changes

So of course with E3 I read all the stuff they were thinking of adding and got really interested by some of it. Ie seeing the new content and stuff sounds really cool. Read this article today: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/worldofwarcraftexp1/news.html?sid=6151428 and thought it gave a good idea of the different things coming up. Anyways I don't know if I'll ever be able to play the game like I used to but things like Nax and all the expansion content I'd love to try. I think Karazhan is probably the coolest thing that is proposed. 10 man challenging raid content. I'd like to even see 5 man challenges.

WTF is Nanotech Engineering

To those of you who don't know, there's an undergrad program called Nanotech Engineering at U of waterloo. Here's what I don't understand. How is a Grade 12 student gonna go "hey mom, I'm gonna grow up and be a Nanotech engineer." Does anyone even know what it is? So many people are gonna get owned. Is there even a nanotech industry out there right now... how retardedly specialized can it get?

With calculus cut from the grade 12 curriculum, I honestly don't think a kid is allowed to even decide to choose a field to go in yet. I think Waterloo should just make a general "Engineering", "Math" program in 1st year for everyone, then choose depending on how well you do in 1st year, sorta like what they do in U of T with Life sciences. I'm pretty sure E-frium didn't know he was going into Immunology in high school did he?

Da Vinci Code Fever

Just a quick survey, I'm curious to who has read the book and who hasn't and who might want to see the movie. I guess we will probably here a lot on the subject thru the media this week. I actually want to see the movie but I wanted to read the book first. There is definetly a curiousity to see what it is all about. And by read I mean listen (downloaded the audio book). So it should be interesting.

Also having a bbq at the end of the month please rsvp to the evite and if I forgot someone by accident please let me know.
